Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all.

Still working on the engine. Yesterday was 3 something hours to get the motor and gear box backing into the bus and loosely bolted in on the mounts. Which is the best I've ever done. It's a bit of a tight fit to navigate it over the axle, down the sides and under the floor. Today, I'll tighten the bolts and attached the tail shaft bits. That'll be enough!
Thought you would get it Jon🤔

Hi Bernie,

I think I did. Spitting rain today. Bit wet to be crawling around the engine. :-(

Very late good morning from me. We are at friends place up on the Southern Downs/Granite Belt again. I have spent most of today looking for my glasses again. Even looked in the oven. It's not much fun when you can't see properly. It was a beautiful morning here, but has clouded over now.
Have a wonderful afternoon everybody.
Cheers
David

David,
Do what I do: have a spare pair of glasses in a drawer to put on to look for your glasses. :?
Spares go back in the drawer immediately the 'proper' glasses are found.

ps. Have a look under the bed. Failing that, check the gap between the seats in the car. :D
... the pockets of the jacket you last wore?
Regards & God bless,
Ray

I've noticed that when I lose my glasses, they are usually where I left them. So, what I do now is remember where I left them.

A simple trick, but not many people know it. Dave, maybe you could try it? Start with writing it down, and then progress to using the power of your mind.

You could go with the endless trips to the optometrist because your eye sight is failing at an alarming rate, then you have lots of pairs of glasses you can try on until you find today's prescription or one that is close ... it is unlikely to be the pair you can't find, but they will turn up as soon as you stop looking for them

Morning everyone.
I cant lose my glass' they are on my face...otherwise I cant see :D
All I got up to yesterday was load the box trailer up...my old beer fridge (minus the beer) the old aircon from the house the old spin dryer and a lawn mower that don't go no more.
And of cause the tip was closed yesterday so off the the tip today, it don't open till 12.30 grrr.
That was about it. :) :D
Opps...I started the diesel heater in the "winny" just to do a run.
Bernie.
Morning Bob...we haven't had any fog from the rain.

Morning all.

Bernie, is the mower a "modern" ' Victa 2 stroke? MIne is getting a bit rattly after 20 years. I got it second hand and it needs a rebuild. Great mover. 3rd deck. This one is ally. Wouldn't swap it for a new pressed tin one.

Did some of the bits from yesterday. Tail shaft connected and tightened all the engine mounts. Will do a bit more underneath. air and clutch hoses plus the centre bearing things

Dave, Have to found your glasses? I'm presuming you haven't yet. ;)
