Ray maybe rite that axe handle was my Dad's...patina is Spanish Jon from my Mexican side
Well the rain event was a fizzer out here in elsewhere only 2mm yesterday, light rain thru the nite again.
I see Rocky Street had some flooding yesterday...that's in Maryborough.
I cant move the split timber till Carol gives me back my wheelbarrow...she has mulch in it

As a youngster I prevailed upon mum for a piece of meat.
(About the size of a sixpence—5cents today)
Worked well! Lasted well, too… the yabbies couldn’t tear chunks off it too easily.
Sometimes caught enough to feed the four of us!!
