Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Didn't know that jd thanks, cheaper than the roo. I was using the pressure cleaner on G's garage doors today and as I turned around guess who was there? 1 maggie, the one that eats from your hand. It filled it's belly then flew off. Rice cooking shortly. I got absolutely filthy using that cleaner thing. I have to do the pavers but that will take ages so might see if there is someone around that can do it too hard for me. The wet weather really dirties them so might look at covering the pergola with ???? Something that isn't too hot in the summer but also lets the light in.???G can;t do that job now as he is NOT permitted on the ladder. I also sprayed 1/3 of the lawn with that special weed spray, more to do tomorrow. Still eating roast pork  Hope everyone had a nice Xmas and even better for the new year. Drowning in lemons, and peaches and the plums are looking dangerous. . Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

Dot, forget the pavers. As long as they aren't slippery when wet, save your hard earned. Sounds like you have found a very friendly maggie. Hope the antics keep you amused for quite a long time. xxxx

Today was the worst day that we have ever had in this caravan park. May I warn people that the events at Forster Lakeside holiday park have been unpleasant. I am being careful to only state the truth and fact so that no libel can be caused. Our grandson has been a visitor to this park since he was a baby and this is his first time of having his own booking with his campertrailer. He was sent to a site that has very poor markings and was helped to set up by our son and his nibs. Shortly after a big caravan being towed by a Ram arrived. The driver immediately started shouting that this site is not as big as the site that he has always had and the park has given him a very wrong site. He rushed up to the office to complain and son got asked to move the camper to the correct part of his site. They were all certain that his camper as right, but they moved it anyway. Man then fiddled with his extra awnings and extra huge gazebos, which wouldn't fit on said small site. Cameron was again summoned and told to move it again because the draw bar must be facing the road. We have read all their regulations with a fine tooth comb and it does not exist. But with bad grace, and telling them that many others are in the same positions, they turned the camper again. Our son did speak to the groundsman and would have used some choice language by then, as the groundsman has a smart mouth too. He went to the office to complain about the rules being broken by many others and was told that he has had 4 complaints about his behaviour against him. Maybe four times by the rude groundsman, but son hasn't talked to that many people. He was not happy and in reality he would have been asked to leave if that was true.

I had already paid my deposit for next year and his lordship came with his ipad and asked me to explain a few things that he found in 5 different emails from the park today. One was the bill and payment for damages to said electricity box $250.Followed by a receipt for the $250 that they have taken from our card. Those rules did state that any damages must be paid for on the day that the damage is incurred. But I was screamed at, last Monday that "I was lucky they were not going to charge us for the damage" Boy I hope they have recordings of that unpleasant call.

We have had family meeting and will probably not be returning to this park. We will be leaving the deposit until the very latest to claim back with no charges (November in this case). What they don't know is that Cameron is an electrician and he has started to check up on the code and has found several faults with the electricity box, and it is still dangerous to anyone today. The work safe people will get a lovely call from me once our family is off site. They chose to play dirty and they don't realise that they chose the wrong person. They have probably banned our family and we will see when DIL goes to re-book...be very interesting.
Sadly for them they chose the wrong person to have a go at and with their petty minds and unfriendly behaviour, kharma will get to them.
Hope you are all aware that there are many other good parks in Forster NSW and please feel free to ask for recommendations.

sorry for the long rant

You got it right Dot. Don't give the birds a chance to develop a hungry demanding habit. When you are not home, they will cause damages or annoy the rest of the locale. Yes I am going to rule the roost with the caravan park. They just won't know what exactly hit them. xxxx

Last night, very late, I checked my bank account, only to find that the deposit of 25% had been charged to our account, it was over $1000. After some fast maths, it worked out to be $550 per night. I didn't sleep real well after working that out. We had to return keys to the office on departure and inquired about the amount of money removed without my permission. There was no apology, just a comment that it was human error. That was for the entire stay. I demanded a total refund. As she then started to tell us that our son and family would not be able to come to their park again. No point us going then either, so don't bother to re-book us. Lucky for her, the money has been returned to our account. Not impressed by these loonies. A woman scorned, is all I am saying. They just will not know what has hit them when I have finished with them and yes, I will make sure that they pay for their disgraceful targeting of my family.

We came home very safely and quietly, no dramas and I snoozed for most of the trip. As we left the house in a bit of a hurry, there are quite a few jobs to clear up now and we will be busy for a while.

night all xxx

A big Social Day today.
PROBUS morning tea/coffee at the Corowa Chocolate Factory and Whiskey Distillery. (I had a hot chocolate. 😁)
About 15~20 people attended for a good yarn with snacks.
Home again for a Nanny Nap then buried my nose in a book for the afternoon.
I’m just a bit shagged right now.
So it’s goodnight from me, and it’s goodnight from him.
😁🛌
Regards & God bless,
Ray

What a stinker today was BUT I didn't notice too much as I got up at 10am had a shower and a cuppa, sat on the bed to get dressed and woke up at 4pm. The garden really felt the heat so the water has been going for an hr or so and the lesb--n mozzie bit my bum not a nice experience, once ok but I got hit about 8 times and the itching is torture, I feel like a dog with fleas right now.Went to put the drippers on the fruit trees and there were 3 of the biggest peaches on the ground so I had to eat them and they were so juicy yummo. Tomorrow will be much cooler so I will finish doing the weed spraying. Brian has his check up for that growth on his eye lid on Wednesday so I expect he will have the op the following Wednesday. Was waiting for the local yobbo's to come to quote getting the driveway area for new road base stuff, that was supposed to be last week, G rang them this morning and would you believe they are on holiday until mid Jan  Thanks they let us know. NOT This is the time they should be working as heaps of people are on holidays and want to do stuff around the house. Glad those caravan park people did the right thing. I think I have broken one of my toes, I fell over x 2 and I hit a brick, tomorrow will tell. Interesting program on Bunn---s o n 4 corners. Shower time then back to bed.So goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D
