Companies spend megabucks on PR to gain consumer trust and loyalty. CMCA must have thought their monopoly strangle hold sufficient to sustain. Wonder how they weathered the exodus financially?

What about all the forum history value of technical threads I bookmarked for future information reference? Will that be restored?

Brad, I would hope that is the case. That technical library was the main reason that most of us joined the forum in the first place.It may be a bit dated now but some things don't change. Especially if made before 2012 or so.

As of today one of the primary sandpit characters has, after many years of secrecy, on a number of forums had his real first name added to his AMH profile.
