Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

A bright sunny morning with a bit of scattered cloud here in Upper Mannum, so much to do we ended up spending the night in the bus instead of going to the new house so I could get an earlier start.

Good morning all , just back from my morning walk dangerous stuff this walking I was attacked by a wedge tail eagle it had a wing span of 5 metre's fiery red eyes and teeth 5 inches long with flames coming out its mouth . Well that's what I thought it was....bloody swooped by a magpie , now my left foot started doing some strange tango with my right foot neither can dance so I went belly up
I have bark of my left arm and leg but I will survive (I hope) .
Told Carol I was hit by a cattle truck .hehe .

Morning all, maybe it's dry cotton farming Dottie, when we went through Nth Bourke on the way to the Barcaldine Rally they had just had their first rain for 7 yrs. The lady behind the bar was tell a tale about the kids grabbing the umbrellas and running outside as they had read about walking in the rain with an umbrella but never experienced it, but the umbrella was soon discarded for the pure pleasure of walking and playing in the rain. The publican was organising learn to swim classes for the frogs, all the locals dogs still look traumatised and stayed under tables and various stories about the antics their dog got up to when the hose seemed to reach every where and they couldn't see who was holding it, just they were getting a hosing but hadn't done anything wrong that they could figure. One old bloke told a tale of his 3 working dog howling and running full tilt to the end of their chain, when he let them off they went straight into the house and they had never been allowed in the house, but if the boss thought it was a safe place they wanted to be there  Couldn't get them back out until after the rain stopped and his wife was doing the 'nanna about it still so he'd come to the pub for a bit of peace and quiet. There were grins from ear to ear every where you looked.... except for the truckies, the parking bay across the road was a mess where they had spent hrs towing each other out
