Leaving on the 15th for about 6 weeks, Bernie, then home for a month and off at the beginning of June for about 4 months. Will check out that Cafe. Thanks for the tip and enjoy your celebration.
Cheers

Bernie the machine looks a good one, i had a loan of a much older machine some years ago & made sail cover, upholstery, etc., for our yacht, the folk that bought the yacht couldn't believe that I had made it all, easy when you have a decent machine, guess that is if you can sew in the first place.

fitted an air filter for the diesel heater. Not so much for filtering -even for quieting the whoosh- moreso for stopping wasps blocking up the tube just when I want a hot shower. Pretty pleased at the results so I am gonna brag about it to you all.
Step 1, Bunnings, secure el-cheapo 10" (Standard) water filter cartridge, plastic 10 micron about $7 AND a single-entry electrical junction box for $1.60.
I had some M8 allthread laying about and used this with a couple of heavy washers to pull the assembly together and mount on flat surface. You might want a different style, I am sure zipties would do fine.
The JB size should suit the inlet pipe of your diesel heater, mine is 25mm but its a big heater.

now, counter drill the JB bolt mounts so they sit a lot lower, about 20mm off the bottom. This is so the filter cannot be pulled to the roof of the JB starving the airflow to the heater. Drill a 6 or 8mm hole through the top of the JB for the allthread pull bolt.

Then, make a little shoulder on the filter with knife, file, sander or grinder so it snugly fits in JB, resting against the modified bits you did before.
Assemble and mount -Viola! no more wasps
