Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

T1,
What took you so long?
I had the “work till you drop” thing nutted out 30 years ago!
Of course, a cancer diagnosis helped… 🤔

Years ago — not long after moving out of Melbourne — I had to admit to myself that I was no longer 18, and it was time to pay someone younger to do the heavy work.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Morning all still cold here 5c at the moment and a top of around 13c with cloud cover. Have the wife down crook at the moment so more to do.

Tomorrow morning back in Flinders private for more injections to the nerves on the spine. Doing the left side this time as it has now start to give me bad problems any way can only hope for the better.

So a good day to all and Helen hope you are settling in cheers Robert

Just like y'day, our jetty went under water last night, fortunately we are high & dry, the lake doesn't flood our property.

It dropped to -3.5* at the house over night, grass frozen as well as the roof of the silver Prius when we reach the workshop at 8:30 this morning. It was such a shock for the poor orange taxi Prius it didn't want to go much faster than 60 km/h for the first few kms, it did spend its early life in Brisbane after all

Back to the houseboat today, seems there was actually a lot more still to do than I remembered  Not looking forward to sorting the 240vac part, it looks a lot like the set up in the last houseboat with the rotary switch etc, but this is at least in a big box so I've got a bit more room. I'll have to swap out the 3 way rotary switch to a 4 way so I can switch between off, shore power, generator and inverter because this houseboat has an Onan generator and they dont play well with any sort of electronics, the Victron inverter won't have anything to do with them in the slightest because the voltage and frequency aren't stable enough and too many back ground frequencies along with the 50hz, you would think they could have sorted this stuff by now, Honda did over 10 yrs ago .....

Years ago — not long after moving out of Melbourne — I had to admit to myself that I was no longer 18, and it was time to pay someone younger to do the heavy work.
Unfortunately, I had the brain fart to talk the wife into finishing up where she worked and earned big money, to up root from the Illawarra to Mannum and start a new business while in my 60's, so now I have to work to pay for my stupidity
The plan was to finish the big bus project and work part time doing the T1 Lithium stuff because I didn't really think there would be much interest in travelling all the way to Mannum to getting a full conversion done ....... I got that one very wrong  Now the tail is wagging the dog, I have no time to work on my projects because age has slowed me down so much that the T1 Lithium work consumes all my time. That is why we have decided to put work hr limits in, so I get back some free time to work on my projects

Been telling you for years Mr T that you needed a "workshop manager" and to stick to the rules as you are too soft  do not ask me how I know that.  15 deg here, lovely and sunny and clear skies.
