Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Didn't acheive much that was on the list for yesty except walk the dog. Lots of birds about, some that I hadn't seen before. Not sure what is on today's list yet. Looks like another nice day though.
Safe travels everybody.
How's the shed building going, Bernie?
Cheers

I took it that Jon was wanting to go to Walkerville before he went to the airport.
Stick to the freeway. From Mannum across to Monarto, down the freeway, turn rt at the tollgate, straight down Portrush.
A lot more 'scenic' your way but ......

If you drive down the Black Spur road in the bus, then the chain of ponds road would be a walk in the park by comparison. Semis go up and down that road so ......

EDIT: Add to that, the slow trip down the long hill that is even slower now after a truck runaway not long back, will drive you crazy ......

I reckon Dottie would have her head over a bowl if she watched that video  If you take on the chain of ponds rd with that sort bravado, the cars will be moving to the passing lane .... well, unless Margaret is in the orange Prius, then you'll just see a flash as she passes you ..... this is me after a trip down that way with Margaret driving ......
Our Ford Cargo is roughly 9 mtrs long and although I can't keep up with Margaret down that road, even with a 20ft softside pantec body on the back and a heap of tarps I did it fairly easy.

That is outrageous, replacing the battery with 55Ah LTO cells would have only cost $10,500 for the cells landed in Australia, so cheaper landed in NZ. That would have increased the electric only travel distance to about twice as much, enabled it to recharge at one of those 30 min recharging stations and the battery would last for another 20 yrs.
