Congrats to T1 and Margaret!

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I had to wait till Jerry arrived in the morning to open the workshop  Fortunately one of the keys I had fitted the gate lock, but the front door is a fancy security thing so I did my usual trick to get in the Mazda, rattled the door till it unlocked and slept peacefully till the morning..... :D

We put electronic door locks on the house as part of the reno's, now when we go out you just need the car key, bliss!!
You can get them with a fingerprint reader so you don't even have to remember anything except which finger or thumb to use!!

I wonder if that style of lock would be OK on the bus? Any failures with it Peter? Do you know how much current it draws?

They are actually a standalone unit, run on four AA batteries for over 12 months. The ones we have use a keypad with a code of your choice, you can also have several different codes as well as a temporary one for a tradesman.
One button push to lock and a 4 or 6 digit code to unlock.
Also have a remote with integral key.
