My opinion only .....
Gearbox is OK... forget that.
Clutch itself is OK ....
Fluid operating the clutch is the problem ....
Does the line get close to the manifold or exhaust pipe at all?
Probably not being rear engine mount.
If you can continue/enjoy your trip until you get back home I suggest G get out the toolbox & remove the master cylinder & the slave cylinder & put kits through both of them. Flush the fluid line from front to back & reassemble it.
I wonder if you travel one gear down will it still do it? I bet it does. Is one gear down much slower? I presume it's an overdrive gearbox?

Agree Bruce, shall give you a yell when we get home
No the line isn't near the manifold or exhaust pipe.
5th gear was ok,,, and travels well
Our next door neighbour (the diesel Mechanic) said that the clutch fluid should be changed at service times roughly 40k
Have been to the Simpsons gap today WOW WOW WOW..
Got a real good story to tell you later on but right now it is a happy hr or two for me. The reason will be clear later on

Hint,,, I was nearly attacked by a fairy
