Priced engine oil from two suppliers, identical product, and received the following. 10L - $79 or $100, 5L - $43 or $57. I prefer to deal with the supplier who quoted the dearer prices so informed them of the difference and was told that they cannot come near those prices. The quotes were from Supercheap and Bursons.

Checking the workshop manual for my engine i note that the quantity of oil, including filter, is 15 litres whereas after filling to the full mark on the dipstick (on level ground) only requires 11 litres.

Bursons lost me when we were in Tassie. I bought oil and filters from Bursons in Hobart only to find out on oil change day that one of the oil filters they gave me was wrong. I went into Bursons in Launceston and they couldn't/wouldn't exchange it. So guess what, Bursons can stick it where the sun don't shine. I have been a Club member at Supercheap for many years and am very happy to deal with them :D

Unfortunately, I have recently tried to buy spark plugs, oil and fuel filters for our Nissan Pulsar from Supercheap only to find they didn't have any. They were also unable to supply an oil filter for the UD FE6T.
