The only one of those we've had a chance to visit so far is Parker's Pies. Delicious! Have had a few lunches there since the move...Swisslulu wrote:We enjoyed our few days camped at Policeman's Paddocks near Rutherglen last year. Loved Rutherglen. What a pretty town. Warrabilla Wines, Taste Restaurant, Parker Pies....Ray, you have chosen a great place to live!
However, after only five weeks here, we are yet to have the spare time to do too much sight-seeing. Almost box-free now.
Police Paddocks is high on the list, though. Can we take The Hounds there for a run?
Might also be handy (if OK) to recommend as overflow when we have an excess of visitors.
Spotted Lions Park @ Howlong en route to Albury today... ducked in on return journey to check it out. Nice spot by the Murray, space for larger rigs, although negotiating a U-turn on the 'camping allowed' side might depend on where others are camped... Picnic areas look pleasant & clean.

Not sure if Police Paddocks is pet friendly as we don't travel with any and therefore tend not to take any notice. It would be worthwhile to take a run out there and read the sign at the entrance. Edit: Just had a look at Wikipedia which indicates it is pet friendly. The Warrabilla Durif is the goods though.

Are we celebrating for this evening Lesley & Erich? Unless of course it is not until to-morrow

My phone was away in the car with Bruce all afternoon but have just read it now.
