Re: Good morning daily
Yeah, I've been guilty of the 50 cent coin between the fuseholder terminals to get home at one time. The headlights were pulling more amps than the fuse could handle, the coin got so hot it burnt the coin stamping into the thumb and finger when I pulled it to stop the wiring letting the smoke out
But we got off the dirt road with zero street lights and back onto the highway where I drove on park lights the rest of the way home, just needed to find a vehicle to follow that was going the direction I needed to go
I have seen similar in a house mains fuse box, no idea who was the hero that plugged them in, but the wiring was a tad below the Aust standards, including clothesline wire strung up on dead tree branches to get power from the house to the shed out the back .... a good 50 ft or so
the stick welder apparently kept blowing the fuse when the air compressor cut in at the same time ..... so the bolt fixed that problem ..... then the extension cables and other assorted bits of cable used to make up the 50 ft from house to shed, started smoking and the plastic melted off ..... so the clothes line wire was the next option .... although that did admit to trying to cut a section of fencing wire from a farm up the road, but the wire was too hard to cut with the pair of long nose pliers they had

Late good morning. Carol needs to demand tests, maybe MRI needed. Her body needs attention as she cannot go on like this. Gentle hug from me.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Yep, Kay is right. It's been going on for way too long now.
And a gentle hug from us too.

Re: Good morning daily
Carol will need a referral from a specialist to get an MRI, a general practice doctor can't order one of those. Also, a pain management specialist to get the correct medications balance and a rehabilitation specialist to get the correct exercise program to give to the physio to improve the muscles required to take the strain off the back ..... hard to do with a painful back so a special exercise program needs to be developed to gradually build up the core muscles that have the job of holding the body up so the weight is not on the spine so it can recover.
I can tell you from experience, it is a long process, requires a lot of physio trips and specialist trips, it may involve nerve abatement https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-proced ... c-20394931 or even a stimulation to give long term relief if the nerves are being pinched ...... I had to go through that with my neck and back injuries from the motor vehicle accident .....

Yes they can. My doctor has.... maybe only Bulk Billed can be ordered via a specialist. But then, you may be waiting a while.

Good morning.
We went to Carol's doctor then to medical imaging scan done, now await results
We got back home around 2pm Carol went to sleep full of what ever drugs for 4 hours, she was bugged. I wonder how she will be this morning??
Keep safe.
Bernie.

BernieQ---
What vertebrae are involved? I think that L5 is the one that regulates the bowel and causes the ongoing constipation.
My latest CT scan was in late November and the report was almost immediate. That is, by the time I got back to Dysart (135km) after having a Subway in the hospital carpark, my GP had the report.
The scan was ordered by my GP and was done at the Emerald hospital---all for no cost to me.
Keith.
ps: they even paid me travel allowance for driving there and back in my car instead of the ambulance.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning everyone. It has been rather blowy up the top of the Toowoomba range. But it keeps the flies away. Was a good night of racing on the dirt. Looking forward to tonight. Bernie, I hope Carol is on the improve and the scan can pinpoint what the problem is.
