Doesn't the price go down just before a holiday week end? I think one of the fuel mobs did just that to catch out all those who filled up early, then caught them big time the next holiday break by jacking up the price twice as much

Or ............. use the travel lift & pop it up in the 'loft'!
Remember .... measure twice & drill/cut once!
Get real, it's measure 4 times, cut twice as many bits as you really needed and fill in the gaps with the welder where ya still got it wrong
Seems the gremlins are alive and well in the Vik mobile, electrickery problems now and we haven't actually touched anything electrickical. Back to the shop Monday probably, but I'll let Vik fill in the details .... when he stops banging his head against the wall
It was your wearin your old footy boots on the roof that did it ... !!!

:( Yea, drove home to Adelaide from the T1 abode in the light rain along the freeway for a change,(normally Chain A Ponds) ...

So it was the smooth freeway that killed the beasts electrics where as the bumpy Chain A road shakes all the wires up or what...

Park in the drive, cant open the drivers door, too tight, go out the MH door, press the step down...bzzz works fine, turn on the mains, beep, all normal...
Turn on the lights... nothing...??? WTF...??? the only thing that worked was the step, the drop down bed and the awning and the AES fridge searching for power... (All the 12 volt stuff) HMMM...

OK, figure plug in 240 and see, ...!!! big fat zero ,looked in here

All dead, pressed the trip test , didnt even click, no charger ,no nothing, the lead was live yes...!!!

Gave up in disgust... and just left it, had stopped raining BTW (might be important that...!!!)

Get up to have another look in the morning, All is working...??? turned on the lot, all works, even cranked up the Webasto on full ,yep worked BUT noticed the lights flicker as ya could hear the thing trying to light up. Not good me thinks...

Cos the other day the lights flickered and actually went off for a second or two ,did this a couple of times and the light in the dunny no longer worked (ceiling light) and when I felt the light, pusdes the switch to see what was up, it was as hot as hell all around it and the fitting itself

Had a bit of a look for a loose connection , but dont wanna touch too much...

Spent all day yesterday fitting a new awning canvas bit to the awning drum that Brian had removed some time back to do body repairs. Found all the bits, struggled and said rude words trying to get the material with the round plastic bit in it into the slot in the drum .... half way and then forget it, wouldn't go any further. As a last resort, re-read the instructions, this explained why there was 2 extra lengths of the round plastic stuff, matched up with the old stuff ... hmmm..... pulled the round plastic bit out of the awning cover, threaded the next size down into the stitched pocket, and presto in it went
Redrilled holes in the repaired body section, refitted all the awning mounts and arms stuff, late last night a trial run, it automatically deploys when it is supposed to auto rewind .... bugga
Spent an hr this morning removing the drum, threading it back on the right way around and presto, it all works :D Margaret is very happy, Durif under the awning after a long day is again possible 8-) Now to sort through the wiring birdsnest to find out why the pump doesn't work.
