I have been getting a bit of gear from Bretts Trucks. Look them up on the net, their prices on filters etc are pretty good and freight quick

Rob,

I have dealt with Bretts Trucks a few times, the last time a week ago, ordered a rocker cover gasket on the Friday afternoon and it was in my PO box on the following Monday.

Newcastle George will know what I'm talking about here . Mate I replaced the leaky air/water trap thingy with one from up the front of the bus off the main air tank . Then put a 3/8 bung in the hole . cant find a leak but its still loosing air ? could it be bleeding back to the compressor ?
Soapy water don't show any leaks on any join .
Terry jump in if you can . It started yesterday couldn't get any air up , then it would . This morning it done the same then all of a sudden started building up . But when you turn engine off 1/2 hour latter no air the main tank , the air door tank remains full ..sorta..

Along the air line you will find a large fitting that looks like an oversized pipe joiner. Inside there is a one way check valve that stops the air tank bleeding back to the compressor, I'm guessing this is where the problem is located.
