Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
Another day inside the bus, cleaned up all the wiring around the house batteries...zip ties. :D removed two charges redarc and some Chinese thing not needed. And finally finished the dining area. The hole for the table is now relocated thanks to one of my neighbors having the correct hole cutter. Wasn't as easy as thought...the pipe that goes into the table and floor thingy aren't straight as I thought, I had to "machine" down the bit that goes into the table. Took me one hour to get it the correct size
Now the major (next) job will be to make the swivel chair for the driver...me... :D ;)
Solar and batteries sat on float all day with the fridge on...didn't drop to bulk...now I'm a happy camper...thanks Jon.
Best I do something around the home today before my hole I'm sitting in gets even deeper
AND it's bacon and eggs day...wacko...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

It's a fresh good morning from the Narrandera s/g. Had a good nights sleep, after a big drive. Heading down to Lake Mulwala after lunch.
Enjoy your bacon and eggs Bernie. :D
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Morning all.
Weather turned crappy late yesterday & looking like more today.
Dave did you notice how much water was coming down the River at Narrandera?
At Mannum we are getting conflicting reports about another flood on the way down several rivers.
If it's only the Murray it won't be so bad as if it's coming down the whole basin.
Travel safely anyone travelling.
Stay on the bitumen anywhere in the back wet country.
Police did a "u" turn at Hell's Gate on the Hay Plains & got bogged, even!
If you search fbk for "police car bogged" you can see it being rescued by a passing 4WD with a snatch'em'strap. haha

Bruce, the water level in the Murrumbidgee is pretty much normal winter level. Still plenty of people camped out on the river flats. I'll give you a Murray river report in a day or so.
Cheers

Arvo all. We are camped up at Kyffens Reserve about 10 km east of Mulwala. We have a nice flat spot with a lovely view of the lake. It's gunna be a great spot to wake up to in the morning. I just hope that the other 10 or so groups here are planning on having a quiet night.
Was just talkin' to an old fella that's been here for two weeks already. He reckons all the other camps spots along the Murray are still closed due to high water levels.

Jon, I think he meant current high water. But the lake seems to be down at least 500mm from the usual level. I won't know about downstream from the dam wall at Mulwala until late today or maybe Tuesday.

Good morning.
I just fiddled around doing cleanup in the bus yesterday, old hole in the floor now covered :D
Not much else went on...a bit of gardening and stuff, the shed needs a good clean as well.
Plus I must get back to the shad shed which has been waiting patiently ;) ;)
It seems a bit warmer here today rain forecast, will have to wait and see.
Solar controller stayed at float all day, will be interesting when I look later...fridge on all night.
Keep safe.
Bernie.
Update...tiz raining. :D
