Look forward to seeing you Bruce, have got the Terios with us this time. The R model sounds very nice, loved the R's and S's the design was way ahead of its time. It's a great collection at Peak Hill but he doesn't like people enquiring about them and none are for sale, have freinds up that way who've tried over the years with no luck.

Now at Moranbar & watching cricket.
That's as far as we go this trip before heading back Southwards.
Lovely BIG lake just before Emerald. Lake Maraboon.

Saw several lumps of rock sticking skywards today. A bit like the Glasshouse Mtns?

There is another of those big red buckets at Nanago and an even bigger one at Blackwater.
I stopped at Peak Hill and wanted to ask about an old Chev truck, but a cranky blue heeler and an even crankier bloke suggested that it would be best if I just left.

No, not much wind at Moranbah but had another two thunderstorms roll past.
Got a video of of one showing the street flooded but might be a data hog.
Got the big surprise for Daughter Number 1 tonight.
She starts her 7 day off shift so We'll pop in & watch the look on her face!!
We've been ringing & texting as if we are still in Kingston.............

A little history about Moranbah .... it was a huge cattle station until 1970 when Utah Development Company bought it & created a 'town' of about 10,500 to cater for the workers in their Goonyella & later the Peak Downs coal mines. There are about 8,500 living here now.
Modern hospital, schools & every other facility is here ..... except Bunnings & Woolies.........(how can anyone live without them?)
Yes, T1, there is a Jaycar agent!!

Bruce, Do you have any idea how many mm of rain fell in that storm?? I only ask because it's not uncommon to get over 50 mm of rain in a storm up here. Quite a few of my farmer mates down south don't /can't equate that much rain in a single rain period. I emptied 45mm from the raingauge on Monday morning. And it hadn't really rained.
Cheers
