Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all,
Friday I caught the train from Ca$ino to Broadmeadow (Newcastle) ten hours no charge (pensioner) only $21 to upgrade to first class. Nephew picked me up next morning after I had a night in the Sunnyside Tavern hotel and drove me to AMH at Bennetts Green. Picked up the truck and 5’er and brought it home (ten hour drive) after rest stops. So now it looks like I go to the Dalby Rally. The 5’er is still for sale at $150,000 if anyone is interested (or knows someone).
One small shower just north of Raymond Terrace, one double B burnt out about 100k further on, looked like the driver had got the prime mover unhooked safely so I presume he was OK. Felt good to be driving again after four months with no vehicle.

"tanks" here---Peter,
There is a company in Queensland advertising on TV that they urgently want good Used Motorhome/Caravan/Etc,
either cash purchase or on consignment.

I am living in WA so I don't have access to Qld TV now days, but Mr. Google may be of assistance.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

and zero service costs during that time .......
A mechanics owned car.
 Like they have time or the want to work on their own vehicle  That is scheduled for the apprentice with the directive that any complaints from the wife would go badly on their work performance record ;)
If there is no apprentice or other trades person available, the new noise was put into the "better look at that real soon" or put in the "I know what that noise is and it's not critical, yet" list to be reviewed when the next "new" noise is added to the list :D By identifying the noise and putting in one of the two categories, the minister of war and finance will determine how critical she feels the problem is and if she is willing to give up some of her money to get it fixed or devise a strategy to work the husband/mechanic into a corner where actually fixing the problem is the easiest way out

Finally got the Ford home on the Gypsy trailer and started with the tank drain to get all the bad fuel out ..... no drain plug on a plastic tank, I'm still considering how serious installing one would be.
After a few mouthfuls of stale petrol and rusty water type gunk because the "jiggler" syphon refused to do what it said on the label and all the contents seemed to have shifted to the side of the tank away from the fuel pump hole, I winched the car off the trailer and down the driveway, winched the trailer to the towbar on the Kombi in the car port, started trying to winch the car back up the driveway, only to discover I was actually winching the Kombi and trailer out of the carport .... it weas time for a coffee and rethink 8-)

Anchored the Kombi to the carport handrail, winched the car up to the trailer, winched the Kombi and trailer till the spare tyre on the bullbar was hard against the end of the carport, re-anchored it and started to winch the car the rest of the way up the driveway ..... only to get the remote cable for the winch tangled in the winch rope and breaking the cable .....
Work was called off due to bad language and attitude and today hasn't actually improved the attitude so it might be tomorrow before work recommences

But it's only early spring here in Mannum ..... are you suggesting Qld is three season behind? I know you couldn't be suggesting they are three mths ahead of us ...... ;)
