The tyre that popped was a red triangle, same as the ones that went at new year..
The new ones are Weslake. Popular in Pilbara due to heat tolerance. The tyres themselves have a higer load rating.
The different rim sizes allow the duals to not touch
I had an oddball one already..245s are hard to find. Hopefully I will actually get a good run out of these.
The spate stays at 245 as the bigger ones wont fit.

Today I put a victron Ve smart dongle on my battery monitor so all the info is on my smart phone now 🚌

Got news today good and bad... the bullbar had been powder coated ... :P

The bad news, we did it in ripple finish black insteada Aztec Silver as you wanted...

I aint no powder coater ,but two lots on top of each other ...??? is it gunna be good or bad...??? dont know how many micron the stuff is ; but to get the ripple effect it aint like a coat a paint...!!!

Any folk have a clue on here ...??? have already paid 2K up front... :cry:

They will strip the original coat off and re-coat it I'd expect. The surface needs to be conductive for the electric charge that makes the powered cling to the surface before they bake it so not easy to recoat a powder coat finish with more powder coat.

They will most likely bead blast it again to get the old/new coat off, then add the colour you wanted. Powder coating is a bit of a clue to the process, paint powder blown on and electrostatically bonded to the metal, then baked to create the smooth finish that fills in all the rough surface and welds etc. No near as tough a finish as baked enamel or 2 pk spray painting but not near as much surface preparation required either.

You wanna check it on pick-up. I grew up around the aluminium window game, and on more than one occasion saw powdercoat applied directly over powdercoat. On a bull bar, chipping would be far more likely if this was done. The adhesion isn't too shabby though.

Did they chromate the bar before the original powdercoat?
