Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning, 13c prediction 21c & no rain, still very cloudy, many of them heavy, grey appearance,
Hardly a ripple on the lake, slight breeze from the N/E.

Veggie house looks good Bernie, exactly what we would need to grow veggies, possums & ducks are our worse enemies, given up trying.
Still waiting for the new owners to remove the huge gum trees that hang over our house & fill our valleys, guttering with leaves, having trouble finding someone insured to clean the roof, they have submitted plans to council for their new house.
Shirley & Bruce.

Great looking green house there Bernie, I think we'd need further fortifications around it if I built one, we have a variety of wildlife that would be in there in no time

Off to do a "fix it" job locally today, we still look after all our customers, even though the business is in hibernation at the moment.

Travelled to Dotty and George's yesterday, checked out the motorhome, very impressive, I made a ridiculous offer looking for a counter offer at the other end of the scale from George .... but he wouldn't dip a toe in the water so to speak ... hope I didn't offend him ..... There might be an issue regarding length and width getting it up the driveway to the chosen parking spot, where the Mazda is at the moment, so that is yet to be determined ..... a few other contenders to sort through yet, this motorhome shopping is fun 8-)

Don't reckon the Dotmobile would fit in that spot unless you knock down the garage and maybe that willow? tree. You'd probably need to move a few more projects before you thought about a test fit. :D

The driveway width and distance to drive up to the carport and then back across the lawn is more the concern, the garage can stay but the wattle tree might require some additional pruning ... like at ground level  The rest of the rock behind the Mazda would have to go as well .... those parts are doable, the width on the driveway and shuffling distance, maybe not so easy .....

Done some homework Terry one more assessment to come. Down the bottom of your drive, bulldoze a parking bay parallel to the road

Good morning everyone. It looks like a nice sunny day for us today. No rain yesty, just a lot of black threatening looking clouds. Didn't get much off the list, didn't feel all that flash.
Glad you got at least one good shot of the rat kangaroo Bernie. Don't think we get them down this far.
Anyone got a tip for the Melb Cup?
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Good morning All. 16* with 28* forecast.
i did absolutely nothing yesterday, was a long day. I have to look at the job of removing the kitchen slate tiles from the front rental and need to check if they have been laid on fibro/asbestos atop the floorboards and if so that adds a problem to the job. The tiles were laid prior to us purchasing the property in 1992 and I am hoping they were laid on masonite.

Too many drug affected idiots using our road as race track or something late at night. Had one miss read the corner where the driveway goes up and only at the last sec did they turn to the right to follow the road .... if they had gone straight ahead, they would been air born over that yard, nose dived into next doors yard and ended up ploughing into the retaining wall that keeps our front yard out of the driveway.
As it was, the whole vehicle did the wall of death thing along that yard retaining wall, the left front wheel got hooked over next doors railway sleeper front garden bed .... till it reached the 90* corner where the next sleeper was and that tor the front wheel and suspension out, but did redirect it to the right towards the road, air born across the double driveway, across our front retaining wall and back on the road. No left hand front wheel so that dug into the road causing the vehicle to go left again and buried itself into the dirt/rock wall another 50 mtrs up the road ..... we had side steps and other various accessories scrapped off by our concrete/stone wall and left in our driveway, next door had a left front wheel and suspension arms .... and the two blokes got out and were wandering up and down the crash site looking for something .... I guessing a crack pipe and bag of crack ICE, seemed to find what they needed and someone turned up and picked them up :o The Police passed through the next morning, took a few details, then had to continue on to another crash further up the road
Then, a few weeks ago, one decided to add a left hand corner along a straight bit and buried the Holden into a rock and the dirt bank that stopped anyone accidentally heading up their driveway ....
Any vehicle parked in front of a house along this road would need the park lights on at night, otherwise they become responsible for causing the accident ..... we have no street lights .....

Thanks for the heads up. Mental note, do not, ever, park outside Terry and Marg's place at Mannum. :D
But you are just far enough out of town for some yobbos to think they are driving a racecar.
Cheers
