Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
I didn't get the lawn mowed...instead we went for a drive.
We took the long way to Gayndah and had smoko at a cafe...then took the backway to Mundabbera and deviated through Humphry's, which made the short cut longer :D We went through Mundabbera to a free camp about 40 odd Ks to the south called Dykehead bridge to see if it was any good for the motorhome...not good if you get rain, and it was over run with debris from the last floods...so a no go. Then back o Mundubbera to the pub for a late lunch
Then the shortcut back home...nexd door rang me as we were entering our drive way and needed a lift, so after 2 hours and a cuppla beers I got home :P
May get the lawn mowed today??
I seen 37* on the cars outside temp thingy.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Another hot one for us coming up.
You got a few miles up yesty Bernie. What's the countryside like at the moment? Much feed about for livestock?
Organised my new glasses, then it was off to the cardio. Now I'm booked for a stress test, when we get back from travelling about in Feb. Even managed to get lawn mowed , so that's one less thing for today. Going for an ultrasound on the gut today, then I can have a feed.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Plenty of green pick to almost Mundabbera, then dry. Both the Boyn and Isis rivers were muddy so there must have been rain further out Dave. A lot of farmers had burn pryer to the rain.

Bought a new mulcher/chipper on ummmm..... I think it was Monday. Couldn't decide which to get, so the old saying "go big or go home" won the day and we bought a 15 hp job. Attempted to assemble it out of the box that afternoon, had the neighbour helping and all, and we got it assembled to the wheel away stage.
Finished the assembly Tuesday? and started feeding the half a wattle tree I had to cut down to make room for the new to us motorhome. Talk about a hungry bugga, once it got hold of the branch it dragged it through it a fast walking pace, and seeing as how that hasn't happen with me for quite some time, it near dragged me in with it.
Eat the tree, the dead dried branches from the palm trees, the high stacked 6 x 8 trailer load of hedge and garden cuttings ... and anything else we could see to feed it, all into an over size bag that's about the size of half a wool bale, naturally, couldn't move it afterwards, so spent bits of Wed loading the wheel barrow and taking it to the river wash away section and emptying it in an attempt both lighten the bag and reclaim some of the washaway .... the reeds grow up through it and anchor it down .... Two barrow loads lightened it enough to drag it onto the pallet lifter trolley so it could be moved ... it was so hot I only lasted a barrow load at a time, then late in the afternoon till Margaret came home to help load the bag onto the pallet lifter

Backed the motorhome into position ... more trees to trim and a lot of rock to remove ..... maybe next week or the week after ... got a vehicle change battery reinstall to do that's parked up on the workshop slab .... have to wait for some replacement cells from Nth Qld, sometimes it doesn't pay to try and do the job yourself, even if you watched me build the original set up :?

Good morning.
I finally got the front lawn mowed then had the day off :D
Not much going on up here, the neighborhood is all quite, no dramers going on to hot I suppose.
Still cleaning up in the smaller shed...all going in the bin...we only have one bin no recycle or green ones...they now charge to drop rubbish in the tip...so I make it fit our bin :D :D
I just have to keep an eye on the weight of stuff.
Don't really know what else I will get up to yet :?:
Keep safe.
Bernie.

This one ... https://www.paramountbrowns.com.au/prod ... ct300/well not that particular one, ours came in a big box and required assembly. Margaret sent a photo of Brian standing beside it, can't figure out how to get it from a phone message to this 'puter, but it's about shoulder height .....

Todays plan is to check the start batteries and swap out to the Full River house batteries if needed .... might even try to build the4 x 200Ah sodium ion test cells into a 200Ah 12v battery and put that in along with the W7 inverter from the Mazda to give it off grid power rather than the generator. The Honda 3.0i will live at home as a back up generator when/if needed .....
Or
Cut down the tree bits and start hammering the rock out so the beast fits in the parking spot behind the garage
or
sit under the air con and watch tv

Not a balanced option list eh

Well I hope that you took the sensible option T1. That would be to sit back and stay near the airco. We are out on the Newell near Moree. We got held up for a while early on. Terrible accident near Plainland.
Cheers
