Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
Another nothing done day...it drizzled rain most of the day, so outside stuff was a no go.
One good thing about the rain...we don't have to worry about using water ;) Tanks are overflowing.
We/her have started loading the motorhome for our next adventure...Elliott Heads with the kids and their kids, next Tuesday is lift off :D for ten days.
I'm pretty sure waze is available off line George, so should work anywhere. The same as wikicamps.
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone. It rained on and off for most of the day, will check the gauge shortly. All I did was go for a drive to the airport to pick up my daughter who had flown up from Melbourne. Then we just talked and talked. I haven't seen her for a year or so, and she hasn't been up her for more than 5 years. Today we are heading over to the ocean beach to walk the dog and have brekky in the cafe there. And we'll probably talk some more.
Happy hump day everybody, safe travels.

Edit. Not even 10mm in the gauge. I thought it was going to be a lot more. Beautiful sunny morning now.
Cheers

Good morning.
Hay we had a day without any rain :?
But that didn't stop me doing bugga all :D :D
I did do one thing, I noticed a small rust trail coming from one of the two brackets that help hold the stone guard from vibrating. So off it came and after a good clean up I repainted it and it's back on the motorhome :D
Are you enjoying your time with Daughter Dave.
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone. Its another beautiful day in paradise. The Energex crews are doing a mammoth job with getting the cables and poles up and running again. Still a lot of work to be done yet though.
We had a great morning, over at the ocean beach. Today we are heading up to the bamboo nursery. Hopefully they won't have sustained too much storm damage there.
It's bin day somewhere today. Safe travels everybody.
Anybody heard from Tanks lately.
Cheers

Tanks is now living in Wyalcatchem and is slowly setting in and doing up his place to make it more comfortable for his new life back in WA.
I visited him last week for a "meetup", we'd known each other for, we reckoned, 9 years but never had the chance to meet face-to-face.
As his place in Wylie was left during his time in Dysart it got a bit run down, and as he's only been back there for a couple of weeks now, his house is getting a bit of renovation.
I was speaking with him yesterday, he'd just done a big shopping and needed a bit of a rest but sounded happy in himself.

Morning all.
Pretty quite out there where is everyone :?: still on holidays :?: :?:
I didn't get up to much yesterday...no rain means temps back to the high 30s aircon on :D
Put a bit more stuff into the motorhome...cause she said... ;) might get some of my stuff in...one day.. :D I offered next door my ute or the Yaris while his ute is in the shop...he declined again...he's using his cattle truck as a daily ride...silly bugga.
On a sad note one of the little rat kangaroo's was found dead in his shed, may have been old age...or hit by car... we'll never know...at least he/she wasn't the only one.
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone. It was a bit of a stinker yesty, weather wise, so we decided to go out for the day. We walked the dog over on the beach, the water has too much colour in it still from the storm, so no swimming for us.
There was an article on the news saying that the mountain was open for business, but no-one was coming, so we went to the pub up there for lunch. The southern end of the hill is in not to bad a shape and looks like it's not too bad, but the other end is pretty stuffed. Some of the houses on the Ridge line have literally been blown to bits by the tornado that came on Christmas night. We thought we had it bad down here on the flatlands. Pfft, we got nothing. It will take a long long time for things to fully recover up there.
It's a big price to pay for having a nice view over the countryside.
I'm going fishing with my daughter today, just going to have some us time.
Sad about the little rat kangaroo Bernie. Maybe the heat got to it.
Have the best day possible everybody. Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Morning all. We are at Nelson and the weather has been kind. Sitting in the lounge and watching the black swans on the water and the tide come and go, very beautiful. Roos and rabbits are fun to watch in the evenings on the front lawn. Steve and Lorraine great value for old stories and some new ones as well. Only thing wrong is there are a few tiger snakes in the area. Off to Portland later to have a mooch around.

Good morning.
Another hot and humid day, will be the same today.
Loaded more food stuff into the motorhome, today I will move it from the shade shed and bring it closer to the house. Just so the batteries can see sunshine again :D and make it easier to load up, plus fill the water tanks up. Plus turn the fridge on...yaaa. so the beer can get cold ;) ;)
Not much else happening up here in down town Degilbo..
Keep safe.
Bernie.
