Re the sheep question Ros, I think they feel safer in a big mob especially if Norman is around that is :D Can you ask to move? Seeing as you are in jail run your air con and save your gas.. Hope you find the problem with the fridge. Enjoy your stay there 8-) . x

Air-Con not working also Dot :x but we will use our fan heater tonight.. Dot this park is pick your own site which we did hoping that we would not get to many near us where we parked, but that's not happening it is school holidays after all so guess we have to put up with it, just wish I could give a bit of advice to a few mothers and Fathers about manners and respect, this generation seem to have no idea. Nice park mostly drive through sites which makes it easy, but had a little laugh to ourselves when we were asked to park as close to the power outlet as possible in-case they get busy and they need to fit another van on your site next to you ,, yes well that's not going to happen on my site we have spread ourselves out, getting 2 site fees for the one site is a bit cheeky.. Time for showers before the mob and kids get there, bread made and BOSS's turn to cook tonight, think it is BBQ tomorrow night Pizza this park have their own pizzeria and they are yum..

Cheers Ros.

I thought your heating part was working but not the cooling  So give the heater heaps then  Yeah a bit cheeky getting 2 on the 1 spot, ask if you get half price for half the space. I was under the impression that you were to have a certain space pr van ? Set the old fella onto those sprogs  Remember the opera or Barry Manalo CD's that should keep them at bay  Why not bake a nice big chocolate laxette cake for the sweet things, works every time, keeps them on the loo    and for the parents some green cookies    what a sight..

Yes Dot heating sort of working but it is very noisy, so fan heater is good. Hey that cake idea sound good. Very quite now to cold for the little darlings, all tucked up in their vans for the night. Off to do a little sight seeing tomorrow then off on Monday and hopefully another free camp along the way.

Well, keep notes as you go. We should be a couple of weeks behind you so it would be great if we can learn from your mistakes. :D
We can't leave yet because we haven't thought up a grand title such as "Russell's Grand Adventure".

About next weekend, hopefully .

Ros,
Our first Kombi (converted to a camper by unbolting the middle seat & leaving it in the garage, replacing it with a block of foam & 2 sleeping bags - pre-kids) was called "Van Ordinaire".
Tarago which followed (post-kids, with lay-down middle seat & four sleeping bags - 2 heads each end) was called "Van Ordinaire II".
Spacia was "Van Ordinaire III"
Get the picture?
We didn't continue the name after "VI"...

M/h #1: "The Turtle" (Slow, and carried its house on its back. :P )
M/h #2: "The Bus" (already emblazoned down both sides 18" high)
M/h #3: "GIRT" (Map of Oz containing 'Our home is... GIRT')

You'd be amazed at the number of people who ask 'What does G.I.R.T. stand for?' I tell them it's from the lyrics of a song... then wait for them to ask which song. ;)

You're welcome to use "Van Ordinaire" if it appeals to you...
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Thanks Greynomad... Thanks for the suggestions.. Our first little van was called the "Cubby House" Our D-Max is called " Lofty" after my late father-in-law, it was thanks to his inheritance that we were able to up grade our car and van..... so maybe we should work with this and see what we come up with... :?

Cheers Ros

Well,
If the D-Max is "Lofty",
Why not call the van "The Loft"...
Or "Loft & Found"
(You may all groan now...  )
