Re: Our New Tow unit
I have my dreaded Bonnie to protect me, she loves to chase cats, that's until they turn and hiss and scratch her then she heads for home or me, which ever is the closest. LOL

Re: Our New Tow unit
Jake doesn't do too much of the running so a chase is out of the question. Having only 3 legs slowed him a bit, but the last series of strokes have left him a tad unstable on the legs so even a walk is laboured event. So the preference is to just lie there, when the dog gets close enough, the claws on the one remaining front leg leave a neat pattern of blood spots in the snout and generally the dog decides there is no fun in that game any moredcsingos wrote:I have my dreaded Bonnie to protect me, she loves to chase cats, that's until they turn and hiss and scratch her then she heads for home or me, which ever is the closest. Crunchy the half Maltese half very sharp little teeth Chihuahua is getting on in yrs and never had a lot of patience or understanding with other dogs at the best of times, but at least she does the curled lips and snarly growl as a fair warning first.
Eddie has his 2 dogs here as well and all seem to get along fairly well now so Bonnie should have no trouble finding friends to play with and enjoy her stay here.
Looking forward to your visit, hopefully the rain will have buggered off by then as well.

Yes Bonnie is a friendly dog, loves people and most dogs, some she has a problem with but that is because they are not socialised and all they want to do is attack. And I am friendly too LOL

Yeah I hope the rain nicks off but by the sound of it the rain is possibly back for Friday, in Sydney at least. Look forward to meeting T1 finally

Re: Our New Tow unit
Well, Christine & David arrived and brought more rain with them, like we needed more of the stuff
Very nice people and Bonnie has won hearts all around.... well, maybe not Crunchie's
the small dog dominance this is my place nonsense, then the long distance staring contest, but I think things will settle down just fine. The front yard looks like a parking lot again, 8 vehicles in you include the 2 shed/trailers, poor kombi will have no where to sleep when it returns from the workshop. The rain is steadily falling now, pools are forming yet again, lovely

Yep, we thought you guys needed more rain
It was nice to meet Terry, Margaret and Eddie(Trev, Wombat) and the tribes. As T1 has said the dogs will sort everything out eventually as Bonnie just likes to play but the little ones think she is being bossy
Hopefully the rain will hold off so we can get my van sorted out and we can be on the road south to see friends and then who knows where until November. Had a great night last night, our shout for dinner tonight Pizza, no washing up or very little.
Sorry Dot neither as I forgot to ask him what it was I had to whisper

Re: Our New Tow unit
Well our vans new Lithium system is up and running just have to get a switch to switch between shore power and inverter and then all will be good
. Learnt heaps in the last 2 days, lots of head spinning trying to take it all in. Might have retained half of it
. Made a few stuff ups but Eddie and Terry where able to fix them for me, best one I did was trying to turn my solar panels into space heaters
I had the wiring around the wrong way. Terry found and fixed that problem THANKS. Now a happy camper, off into the wide wide Australia now. I wish
, probably not until after Xmas as we have bookings to see Dr's and grandkids perform in musicals and other grandparent stuff
