Slowhand, you need to check your facts, NHQ of CMCA is in Newcastle, NSW.

George
That shows you how much I know about CMCA George, was told it's a Queensland registered company by CMCA members and it doesn't interest me to check anything in relation to it. just go on what CMCA people say and others.

Here's a scenario, a group of good old boys  are sitting around the camp fire at a currently running CMCA rally and decide to have a bit of fun. So one of them suggests to go and stir things up on the other forum by asking them where we go when the CMCA forum reopens :o . Currently they are having a good laugh at three pages of this rubbish ;) .

But anyway the answer to the question would be nowhere near it. It would take more than just the CMCA forum reopening to convince me to go back. This nomadic lifestyle has been a lot more fun since not having to deal with all that infighting and us against them with the board crap. They weren't interested in moving with the times so we moved on.

Of course this is just my opinion and I'm sure there are many people that enjoy what the club offers them.

Yes Craig...
I think it's important we are 'big' enough to say it's OK for anyone to belong to the CMCA if they wish, or not, without anyone deciding to gang up on one side or the other.
I eventually did renew my membership this year more as a vote of confidence in those elected rather than what they can do for me, etc.
The issue is more about the forum and unfortunately there are a couple of items that continue to rear it's ugly head that I'm quite sure would not be tolerated on any new (CMCA) forum.... ever again...
It always seems to be the same people who enjoy these jousts?

PS. I did notice that Martin!

I think a lot of personalities come into all this stuff, one just has to do as one wishes & forget about rubbishing others & other forums just belong to what you want, life is to short just enjoy.
