Maybe even some power for the leccy blanky????
That makes a showground with the potential for some to have power a great choice.

We need to get Col from CMCA to approach some of the councils out that way, he's been very successful in getting CMCA sponsored dump points installed, tireless worker for the club.

12v leccy blanket ;) plus want to have a gathering somewhere where it is warm and don't need a leccy blanket. So put yu yhinking cap on Deborah and suggest a spot with all of the requirements to suit everyone but not a caravan park please (unless it is free)

If it is only to power the electric blanket, if you have a battery now that will be enough to power a little inverter for the electric blanket, they don't take much. Even the Kombi had an electric blanket powered from i's tired old AGM battery when we were at Taggerty and road side camps on the way to Kerang and Maleny get togethers.
As far as warm enough not to require an electric blanket at all, I'm guessing nth of Brisbane and on the coast.... and there just aren't any free camps up that way that I know of, too many $$ to be made by the caravan parks to allow free loaders

Terry,

To save a domestic argument here and to save me climbing over boxes of stuff ready stored for our departure, how much power do electric blankets suck up. I freeze to death at 18*c and the bride wants to stop over in Camden (July in Camden is like the bloody south pole) so my ears pricked up with your comment about elect. blankets not using up much power. Can you give me some sort of idea if available.
