KTA - just a matter of time...

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

What date, T1?
We'll book you in!
Might even come along to help you decide. ;)
Although, I mustn't let it interfere with my tap-dancing lessons.

Be careful with that tap dancing, you might fall off and drown in the sink. Poor Murphy drowned in a vat of beer, apparently slip when he was getting out for his 3rd p*ss.
We could do a winery tour over a couple a daze, haven't been to the far flung ones, Morris was a bit ordinary as far as the wine but very flash as far as the winery, Warrabilla is at the other end of the scale, a tin shed and great wines  I think it was Chambers out near Warrabilla that we also enjoyed their wines, a great area out that way.
Maybe we should organise a winery tour get together in the Mannum area some time, well just an arrival spot for anyone who wants to turn up, hate organised events

T1,
Chambers is 500m from out house. Warrabilla is 15km east of town. Maybe you're thinking of Campbell's, opp Stanton & Killeen, 2km from our gate??
Then there's Anderson's and Jones' out that way.
Whatever, we have maps... ;)
And if we start in Mannum, that'll be one helluva pub crawl!!

A point to note for all of the motor homers out there, KT is the only insurer, agent or company, to my knowledge that will cover your toad whilst under tow, either flat tow or trailer.
Their rates for comprehensive car insurance may seem a bit high, but all vehicles up to 20k are charged at the same rate,
When I got my new Suzy, the dealer offered some fairly good insurance deals, with a couple of different insurers, including Allianz non of them covered the vehicle while it was under tow, so KT it was.I rang up and got the insurance changed over and checked if the car was still covered while being towed, and nothing had changed, I found the people I talked to nothing but helpful,

Might just hang off for a bit & look around some more. :?
Chuck, check with CIL, they seem to be much cheaper than KT now and offer very similar policy features. The guy we bought our Winny off reckons they are very easy to deal with, but he was only making windscreen claims.
CIL covered our Winnie 08 - 12 & never had a problem with them... definitely on the revisit list.

Is yours a manufactured mh or a conversion?
If it's manufactured as a mh then Avida RV club has a policy to cover you.
Conversions not covered, unfortunately.
Ray, check the signature & think back to Muckinup. :D

John M,
You must be talking to a different KTA to mine.
I'm STILL waiting for a call back from my call at 0930 today. It's now 1530 in Melb.

Since advising them of the claim on 26/8/16, we've had ONE call initiated from their end. And that was after Colin T from CMCA got involved.
The theory is (and was the practise before Allianz) that we pay a premium so that when we DO make a claim, they take care of everything.
It's not happening that way for me. :(

I will admit Ray, that the two claims I had with KT were pre Alianz, and since then my only contact has been to change my policy, when I was enquiring about giving them money. I know the proof of the pudding is in the eating, but make sure your policy is what you want, unfortunately my rig is a converted bus, (home made) which rules out a lot of insurers and my secondary policy is for my toad that spends a large part of its life on the trailer,I cannot see the point in a policy that does not cover that, if the policy states that, it is covered, then I have some chance of claiming recompense,
In my mind Insurance is like having a bet, you are betting that you are going to have a claim in the insurance period, and the insurance company are setting the odds that you are not. whether you take the bet or not is up to you.
