Yes but your not.
Local was shut when I went there yesterday, they were sleeping in and not today as the weather has hit, just as well I have been to get the food items so I can eat for a week anyhow. Murray Bridge was shut when Marg and I went there the other day.
I have curtains to make 7 drops cost me $21 and apparently I am going soft / girly as they are floral ????
Have a new dining setting, little expander table and four chairs for a song as well as tow office chairs for the desk and the stearing as well as a nice recliner so plenty of seating.
Got a crystal fruit bowl and a crystal whisky bottle the other day for $5 so been doing Ok.
Crockery etc will be on the shopping list as well as a few bowls and tupperware for fridge.
Need some painting and of course some solar and batteries and a couple of inverters and an aircon to waste the excess power. Putting in a domestic fridge to keep the grog cold.
All plans but see what happens when I get it.
Lot more room than the bus so very happy

Good on you Brian. I hope that it all goes well. Maybe one day we can organise a houseboat community. I keep telling the cook that we will get a houseboat when we finish touring.

I hope it is for the best. Was geting a bit confined in the bus as was looking for more space and also the driving was getting a chore.
Have a spot in the marina but will venture out once I have it to what I want.
Of course setup with batteries and plenty of solar and 240v fridge and the mod cons, (many from the bus) and have Terry and Marg set up and going then I can run away for extended holidays with my mates (my shadow) up or down the river.
Already getting bookings for NYE as well as the concert in January.
Be a flotilla sitting across the river where last year there was just Bruce's craft.
Mine is a lot smaller so perhaps 5 or 6 will be enough besides I will only have 6 life jackets as far as I know.

It's funny how there's always a full moon on the river at NYE.... doesn't seem to spoil the fireworks.

The only problem is the skipper cant drink.
Might just stay tied up to the bushes on the side of the river and worry about returning to the mooring the next year.
Hope the house boat with the naked girls are not there next year and some of the fellas might see the explosive fireworks.
