What is next weather wise

Had some good steady rain throughout the night but nothing to speak of the grass is happy though. (grass as in the lawn)

Mannum must have had a wild time of it, think I slept through most of it. Trees down, flower storks on the big Aloe vera plants snapped off even though they were as thick as the top of an adult's leg, dirt across each intersection where front yards and nature strips were on the move.... and the carpet in the office wet around the doorway yet again even though I'd dug trenches in the gravel to get the water away better. But the house tanks are 3/4 full again so all good.

One of the strange events last night, when the rain started and the temp dropped we had both front and back door open to allow the cool breeze to do the job the air had been doing. Came time for bed and we had 5 small frogs come in through the back door. I would have thought the wet area would have been their preferred habitat but they had hopped over the dry and still quite hot pavers to get to the back door and inside the house.
A bit of careful frog collecting had them back out in the rain soaked area and we closed the door, no sign of them this morning. The wet area from the river is in front of the house, behind the house is the original farm land and quite a steep dirt hill so no real idea why the frogs were out the back of the house.

They have been going that way for millions of years. Only recently, some knucklehead put a house there.

The neighbour at Taggerty reckons the snakes have a pathway they they follow through my place and his.... same thing, they have been doing it for millions of years.

Found one this morning that must have wandered into the back room. Poor thing didn't look too well so I transported him to the greenery out back to recover. Gunna be another warm one today I'm guessing.

Terry I would be keeping your doors shut if I were you, those wriggly sticks are renowned for slithering inside and esp where you now live.
