Re: "TANKS" Movement Order
Tanks ! where the bloody hell are you??
Bob r told me this morning that you were in a Coonabaraban CP. I was at Binnaway and drove to Coona but could not see you in either of the CPs so kept driving hoping to catch you up as he said that you was going to Goondiwindi for the night.
I passed a rest area with two MH's in one with a trailer called on channel 40 but no response.
I'm parked in the free camp at Goondi hoping to see you.
I will leave here in the morning and go
St George, Roma, Injune, Rolleston, Emerald, Clermont [your turn off to Dysart 80k away], Belyando Crossing, Charters Towers and then Townsville.
I have to be in Townsville by the 12th June for a Dr's appointment.

Tanks ring me 0427 190 337
I can hear you on the radio and keep calling you but no answer [getting ribbed by others on the radio].

"tanks" here---
I found our Peter at Goondiwindi after a few major dramas along the way. All is ok now and I am mobile without much damage.
I pulled into the Shell servo and the clearance WAS NOT HIGH ENOUGH FOR THE ROOFTOP AIRCON , so I now have to have a new aircon fitted to the roof. There was a small 1" [25cm] ...sign on the driveway awning over the 3rd row of pumps, but too small and too high to read. THE LESSON:: expect the unexpected !
Thanks to, and bless Ken Tame: the replacement unit and the work to remove and replace will be done in either Maryborough or Mackay when I get further into Qld. and I am only up for a $200 excess.
Peter and I part company in the morning as he is going a different route and has a time schedule to meet. I have to go to Moranbah to collect the keys for my house before I drive down to Dysart.
I want to visit my old RSM in COOYAR [near Kingaroy] for a few days on the way to Maryborough. Peter will come to Dysart when time permits.
The UHF radio is full of noise and I did not receive Peters calls. Selwyn heard Peter calling and tried to answer from the Sprinter, but the interference was too bad so he could not reply to Peter.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: "TANKS" Movement Order
'tanks" here,
We are now at DALBY QLD for a late lunch because we had a late breakfast.
Pet-Als left this morning and is on another road. I like his 5th wheeler and the iveco tug. It's a great setup.
He even has a frunt loader washing machine. If I had one it would save washing my jocks and socks in the coffee maker.
Keith.
