Peter & Sandra. It would appear the majority of caravan owners agree with you. I thought long and hard about not installing a sink at all, but just can't bring myself to do it. i think i'll go with the 470 mm square jobbie and my collapsible tub is apparently on its way.

These don't need a straight sail track, so carefully curved to match the roof line or even along the edge outer edge of the roof will work fine. A pull through rope already in the sail track with a pulley mounted at the other end so the pull cord can be used the same time as you feed the annex into the open end and you can install it yourself.

Oh, it's progressing much the same as it has been for the past umpteen years. very slowly. But thank you for asking.

Here's the latest achievement.

I once heard someone say that in building. "Everything has to be done before everything else" and that is certainly true in building a caravan.

The internal wall shown is where the compartments that will house the lithium cells and all the affiliated stuff will be built. I've been madly designing, and asking Terry heaps of questions here regarding that. Those questions revealed I'd best decide on the external access hatch to be used and built the cabinetry around that. So I did that, and ordered the hatch I'd decided on.

It duly arrived and i started to mark out where it would go.

Only to realise, I'd better allow for the ribs on the front.

So, I made and installed the ribs.

Now I can install the hatch, which means I can then start building the cabinet.

Clear as mud?

You almost have to do the full build in your head, everything choreographed, and the do it in the flesh.
And then, when it goes in, how will you get it out???

It always has to be designed so it can be easily removed, then you can take it back out to put the bits in that should have gone there first You end up building the thing at least 3 times before you decide you've had enough of changes on the go and just settle for how it looks now. Then sometime down the track you can pull it all apart and do it a different way section at a time I haven't reached that stage yet, still haven't actually finished build any of them yet, once they are at useable stage the finishing off bit never seems to happen

Quick answer = You won't.

This model Franklin has no frame. (The ribs I just did were my own addition. Original build had only a sheet of 3mm ply and the cladding there) It was Australia's first use of a composite wall material. Thus, no bracing. So, the cabinets are an integral part of the build so are fixed to the body to the nth degree. They won't be coming out anytime soon.

See post above Terry. I so wish I could build everything so I could lift them out. So far, the only things I have found that I've screwed up, is I forgot to run the small wires for the clearance lights at the front. i think I've found to way to retro fit them so they won't be obvious.
And, I neglected to allow for the 240V cable from the passenger side of the van to the switchboard on the drivers side. it was supposed to run around the front behind the overheads. My dumbest mistake so far. No problem though. I figured out how to run it through the ceiling cavity. Should be fine.

And, you may recall I said there was a spare conduit running up to the switchboard that you could use for your 13 core cable and data cable. Well, I had 'planned' to run one but it would appear I neglected to do it. I'm still pondering that problem but I'll come up with an answer. At some stage I may order a couple of metres of the stuff in question off you. Have a feeling whatever solution I come up with may still be a pig to run. Best I do that at my leisure where I can walk away from it to try again later.

Jim I have an old copy of PSP (Paint Shop Pro) that I use a lot.

Just open your photo in it, turn it & resave it.
I use it a lot for trimming pictures, lightening them etc etc....
Needed a few tricks to get it working on 64bit Win10 though!! (cracked version!)
