I reckon when we took Phoenix home, it him 3 months to settle in. And then 12-24 to really have a sense of belonging.

Re: "MAJOR" of Dysart Bunker
"tanks" here---
Major has been "in residence" for 1 week now so he is off to the Vet for a check up.
The Rangers have paid for the visit and the check up is to follow up on his vacs and microchip procedure last week.
He let me sleep in this morning and he is now exploring out in the back yard.
Lucky guy, having a purpose in life !!
He is probably looking for some more interesting places to dig a hole.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Bet he got a good report today I take it he had his 2 danglers removed? You also have a purpose in life as well now Tanks and that is to look after yourself and Mr Major.

"tanks" here---Dot,
All is well with the Major. The Vet is happy with him and no need for any more visits for check-up.
He has had suture removal and all that jazz so he [Major] is all well.
Now I just have to get myself back on track ready for your winter visit.
Keith.
