Has anyone heard from any of the Mannum crew lately?
They have been a bit quiet, but I suppose they might have a few things a bit more important than being on here at the moment. Hope all is well.

Dave,
Nigel is reckoning that there is still 30cm left before it peaks at Mannum.

That's going to overtop a lot of those levee banks then.
I hope that he is wrong.

News. T1 is bed ridden with ? food poisoning and may be heading to Murray bridge Hosp to see what is wrong if he doesn't improve much. Have given instructions for clear fluids, plenty of water etc if no better go to hosp as been a few days now. Will keep you up with it all. And the road past their place now has water all over the road, the goat track is in use

Hope you're a bit better today Terry!!
A little update on the water situation.....
The water is still rising bit by bit every day & this morning I've noticed all the green posts around the outside of the road have all gone below water.
Some of the black poly sleeves are being lifted by ropes.
Looking out the front I noticed a tree or similar floating around in the 'wetlands'.
You know I reckon this flood might have been caused by the Council insisting we had to pay that $1.7m to cover evaporation on our water body. Perhaps they got the invoice wrong & read it that 100yr of water had to be delivered within 30 days or something?
Lately we've been having a lot of windy days too.
Someone commented that the leaders of NSW, Vic & Qld must be all "full of p*ss & wind" & now it's being sent down river.
Thankyou for the links to those videos. I noticed a lot of videos & photos now on the Internet. Utube & fbk mostly.
Years ago I did a bit of clay pigeon shooting & if these low flying helicopters & planes keep it up I might just take it up again! I'me sure in todays world they can move up to 6,000 feet & use a telescopic lens.
Sunbathing in the nude on top deck is out at the moment in case I cause a crash or two!!
