I just remembered, that in Scotland and Ireland they don't weed a lot of the garden beds. When asked why not? The explanation was that studies have found that local pollinators, like bees, bugs etc have some effect on the number of asthma cases in certain areas. So, to keep cases low, the powers that be elect to not trim or poison weeds. No idea how that goes with the hayfever sufferers though.

AI Overview
The slang term "weed" for marijuana likely originates from the plant's ability to grow prolifically, like a common weed, and its association with the term "locoweed". While locoweed, a different plant, causes intoxication in livestock, the similar growth patterns and effects may have led to the interchangeable use of the terms, particularly in the early 20th century.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
Growth Habit:
Cannabis sativa, the plant that produces marijuana, is known for its ability to grow quickly and easily in various environments, similar to many common weeds.
Locoweed Connection:
"Locoweed" is a term used for certain plants, primarily in Mexico, that can cause livestock to exhibit strange behaviors due to their toxicity.
Interchangeable Use:
In the early 20th century, when cannabis was becoming more widely discussed, the term "locoweed" was sometimes used to describe it, likely due to the similar growth patterns and the intoxicating effects on animals, according to The Flower Shop.
Evolution to "Weed":
Over time, the term "locoweed" was shortened to "weed," becoming a common slang term for cannabis.

So, there ya go ...... who knows, Google's AI knows

I was drinking with Mick and his brother Eddie, at a pub not far from the Guinness Brewery. They were a funny pair of fellas. Good for a laugh or two. Eddie owned most if the horse and carriages that act as taxis after you have had a few at the Brewery.

That's it Keith. I think Cadburys sponsored that show. I used to love it. There's a show on now called How it's made, and another of a similar name. They show how stuff is made, built or how it works. Love that too.

This thing has crossed solar systems..... probably for billions of years. What are the chances of it not hitting something?

If it did, at 60 km per second or 216,000 kph, that's a pretty hard impact.

Don't worry about the little dent it might make.....
It'll buff out.

I'm sure that there is stuff out there that we still have NFI about.
