Very nice Dottie & George, well done. Those finishing touches take so long but stamp the personal thing on the whole project, one of those things you can't get in the store bought item. Well done to the both of you

Hey Dot & George,
Don't break a windscreen
There are apparently no curved screens available now - well for my '85 MM515H anyway; we broke both curved screen pieces badly whilst up north in WA courtesy of MRD road works and flying gravel. Had such pieces been available, we were reliably informed they would have been about $7,000 for the pair.
Instead we had Omnibus Services in Perth re-model the front, lower the top edge of the glass area and alter the front coach panels to accept 2 flat pieces of glass at a cost only $1,00 more than the curved would have cost.
Our flat glass pieces will now cost about $450 each when replacement is necessary.
[Apparently an order from a Mitsubishi dealer for something like 20+ windscreens is required before the Japanese people with the curved patterns would make any more.]
When we were hunting for the curved pieces several people said that such were available in Qld/Vic/Timbucktoo but no such curved panels could actually be located. Don't want to start a flurry of windscreen replacements 'cos our problem is now fixed.

Re: Dot & Georges .
Looks like there another job for poor ole G. Need to make a windscreen protector out of chicken wire on a big aluminium frame. We had one for our old ford cortina way back in the 70s, but now windscreens dont do that crackle all over thing and they disappeared from use. Maybe you will get some good value out of one of them!
Curtains and pelmets look amazing. Love the way you incorporated the stripe from the lounge to above the windows, very creative and loverrly.

Looks fantastic Dot, the colour scheme with the flooring works really well and compliments G's fit out and cabinetry skills.
You'll both be very comfortable and relaxed as you enjoy all the benefits of your hard work, it will be good to see it on the road.
