Good morning.
Another day in the top end of the 30s...aircon day.
The magpie seems to be getting fitter...looks like a vulture...no head feathers

I've been digging up worms for him...at least the garden is getting turned over.
Will start packing the motorhome today...we are off but for only three day's, going to catch up with mate and his bride.
Fridge seems to be behaving it's self.
Not much else happening up here.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Bernie, remember to talk to the Maggie---just some baby talk at first---save the big words for later.BernieQ2 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 6:14 am Good morning.

The sound of your voice will soothe him/her. Do you have a babysitter to attend to Maggie while you are away, or are you taking him with you for a trip. Do you have a good supply of worms. I could send you some from WA if you run short.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

p.s.: Don't trust the fridge but keep checking if the beer is cold.

Re: Good morning daily
A late Good Morning All. 34* here and I am off to the GP at 1:30 for my annual medical which is required in order to keep my Medium Rigid licence. I also need him to give a referral to heart specialist for same reason. More money out of my wallet.
I took a trip to the council tip to get rid of 6 old outdoor plastic chairs only to be told I would have to pay $50 so they came home. I will apply for a free council pickup sometime in the future when I can locate more rubbish.

Re: Good morning daily
Back home from the RAH after my ophthalmology 2 hr appointment, can't see much now after so many drops, bright lights and photographs of the inside of my eyes.
I am on the list for sometime in the next 6mths to have the left eye cataract done.
I have to get a contact lense in the left eye with reading prescription to see if my brain can adjust to automatically looking through the right eye for distance and the left eye for reading, and no cross-over causing blurred or double vision.
If my brain can cope with that, then they will put the reading lense in my left eye, otherwise, both eyes for distance and get into the habit of carrying reading glasses with me every where I go

Re: Good morning daily
Terry, you should be ok. My Terrie was told, while still in her teens, that she was blind in her left eye. She lived the next thirty or so years living with a one eyed outlook. Luckily she didn't barrack for Collingwood. The short story is, she had a cataract and now has a 1.5 reading eye and a 1.0 driving eye. It doesn't trouble her at all. I hope that you can finish up with a similar result.T1 Terry wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 7:38 pm Back home from the RAH after my ophthalmology 2 hr appointment, can't see much now after so many drops, bright lights and photographs of the inside of my eyes.

Good morning everyone.
Now I know why I don't drink wine
Magpie doing well...we may release him this morning, will wait till neighbor comes over this morning .
Motorhome is packed...lift off around 9.30...only going 82Ks from home.
I'm one and a half eyed Dave...only half vision in right eye...due to Shingles
Oddly in the dark both eyes work the same
I set the trail camera in the shed last evening..,I think there maybe a Possum taken up residence. If so I hope he had a great meal last night...shed will be locked from today till we get home

Keep safe.
Bernie.
