Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
Almost finished the fridge/microwave install. Just one piece of timber to go.
I turned the fridge on yesterday morning...it was sitting at 2.4 degrees when I finished in the motorhome. All that's in the fridge is 3 cans of coke and one can of beer :D
I knocked my elbow a beauty bloody Bursitis is inflamed...grrr didn't go well sleeping with it last night. Shit happens...or does it Terry  nuff of this gonads stuff
That time of the week again...it's bacon and eggs Sunday :D
Good to see you back home safe Keith.
How was the speedway last night Dave.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Our friend in the airline business says to use crushed ice every now and again, it scrapes any bits off the insides of the pipes. The seal O rings also need attention by using O ring grease. Seems the prev owner was not forthcoming.
It is all removed now Dottie, time to go to the yard and remove the long drop macerator toilet from Big Bus and make the necessary modifications to install it in the motorhome, plug all the holes in the walls and floor where the previous pipes went through and try to figure out how to use the vac cassette as the catch tank until I have time to sort something else for a more permanent tank and disposal system.
Probably a tank above the grey water tank, a pump on the grey water to pump it through the black water tank and a suitable tap and hose set up to download the lot into a dump point, or one of those tot-a-tanks to wheel off to the dump point if we are parked up for a long period and don't want to drive off to a dump point.

T1, if you leave the vac cassette and its base in place, your new macerator loo will just gravity feed into the cassette.
It will give you a chance to see how effective the macerator is.
Bernie, the skids were great. Lots of cars, some great racing and some unfortunate tear ups. Can't wait til next season starts. :D
Twas a long drive home last night, had a few things to get done today.
Cheers

Good morning 15c beautiful sunny day, maximum 25c predicted, lake looks peaceful slight southerly breeze not a sole in sight.
Yesterday afternoon I went up around Pulbah Island with my younger son on his boat, it was a most enjoyable outing, he’d washed it all down & it needed a run, sure is a magnificent lake.

School holidays for the next 2 weeks & one day, Jacob whipper snipped all our grounds yesterday, might get him to mow our front yard today, I mowed lakeside on Saturday, it’s good that the eldest two are old enough to use the mower ect., 13 & 15.

I'll leave the vac toilet cassette wired up, just to make sure. Macerator pump chewing up the Bondi cigars and spitting them down the pipe, the vac cassette making sure they reach the keeper as fast as possible.
I might have to add a loop to stop the water draining out of the bowl to keep the water seal to lock out the smells.

A later project will be fitting HEPA valves to all the grey water feeds to the tank, didn't put all the plugs in once and it took hrs to get the stink out of the motorhome.

Hole is in the floor and the toilet sat in place.
Went off to the doctors to get the wax washed out of the right ear, even after 3 days of torture putting drops in the ear each night and it burning the outer bit and feeling like an insect crawling around inside the ear, they still couldn't get it all out .... so might have to part with the $100 and get the hearing place do a vac job on it .... I'll see how it goes, can always get it done while we are away travelling.
While I was in Murray Bridge, a trip to Bunnings for fittings to join the water fitting on the toilet to the 12v cut off solenoid and on to the John Guest pipe work that is the pressure side of the water tank.
Not going to use the water pump that is part of the macerator pump, it's designed for marine use I think and pumps large volumes of water through the bowl when the chopper part is working, that would fill the cassette in no time. The idea is to control the amount of water with a separate switch to minimise the amount added to the holding tank. It might look like a high tech switching system, vac pump on, then macerator and small bursts of water as required, but it will do the job .... I hope

Problem to over come today, the coil and valve for the water cut off stand proud of the back of the bowl (through the pipework access hole) so either I cut a hole in the wall for it to fit so the toilet will go back against the wall, or come up with more fancy pipe work to move the solenoid lower where there is the space where the macerator pump originally fitted before I made the long drop extension to get the pump outside if it ever needed attention, rather than having to remove the bowl inside the cramped toilet space and stink out the motorhome, the mess will all be outside and I can slide out the generator drawer (now another storage area) and put a bowl on the ground to catch the mess ..... yet another plan that I hope I'll never have to see if it works .... if you have a fix ready to go, the problem never happens, it's only when it can catch you out at the worst possible time that things like that happen ... well, according to Mr Murphy anyway
