Good morning everyone from a foggy and cold Mulwala. But the fog will clear and the sun will come out.The big boat races are on here this weekend. I don't suppose it's going to be a quiet weekend. Might have to go fishn' down the river.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels.

Morning folks.
Me and the motorhome are not talking...swearing a lot tho
I spent a bit of the day working out where to put the new antenna for the TV...all good..so I thought...The internal cabling is through the roof cavity an has an extension that comes down from the roof above the TV...all good...no...because I have repositioned the TV is was too short by about 6 inches
easy me thinks, I went to the other end where the cable starts and old mate had left a coil of cable...so good...no...back to the other end and pulled a bit more...crap...it had a joiner ...which has come adrift...guuna be more words today...not a easy place to get too.
Other than that all else is well.
Catch any fish Dave.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its another cold and foggy morning again. Hopefully it will turn out like yesterday, beautiful sunny day with no wind.
Didn't go fishing, the women folk thought it would be more productive if I cut branches off trees.
A mate from Corowa is coming over today and we are going down the lake to watch the big boats racing.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning 13c, black clouds are moving north & we have beautiful sunshine, predicting 22c with a possible morning shower 1mm
probably won’t even receive a drop.
We went to Belmont y’day, shopped at Swansea on the way home, couldn’t believe the amount of traffic, everywhere so busy, think many people turned Anzac Day into a long weekend away, we even have double demerit points in NSW till Sunday.
The one & only g’daughter 22 has bought a motor bike, she did have a small motor bike when she was young only rode it on their acreage, not happy roads are dangerous enough today in a car.

Re: Good morning daily
Motorbikes are good for safe aware riders, you can escape a Volvo if you are keeping an eye out for one because they are fast and small enough to escape where a car wouldn't fit .... they even have helmet stickers saying "Volvo aware rider"
Had the needles in the eyes, specialist said no more contact lenses, I have a mark in my field of vision as a result of the one and only experience with them. Lost the whole day yesterday, so the pressure is really on today. Finally solved the water pump issue in Tom and Carmel's van .... after replacing the head unit in the pump from the new pump they bought in Murray Bridge, pump still surging, replaced the pump pressure valve last night with my "can see, sort of" vison, still the same, while trying to sleep last night, put the whole scenario together, direct questions this morning finally lead to the fact the problem had possibly been there since they left home .... wasn't that when you turned the tap on under the kitchen bench to fill all the tanks in one go .... ummm.... then the confession that Carmel complained about a gurgling noise under the sink ..... FFS .... check the tap, sure enough, not fully turned off .... at least a full day spread over a number of days trying to solve that one
Next, their diesel heater, located a replacement pump in Adelaide for the fancy German heater, $531 plus tax .....
tried the pump out of the cheap Chinese heater, nothing, so now the whole heater will be replaced with the second Chinese cheapy diesel heater we bought to go in the front of the motorhome .... Tom is being punished by having to remove the old fancy heater ... plus the occasional ribbing about the very first question "are you sure there isn't a tap partly turned on
The cabinet maker next door to the workshop yard came through with a replacement piece of bench top, built a shelf to go over the diesel heater and a middle shelf for the cupboard that replaces where the stove was, and made a piece to extend the hot air outlet to the edge of the hallway so we can direct the hot air either towards the bedroom, to make it warm when drying off after a shower, or forward to heat the kitchen and hopefully to front area as well.
Now, just need to get the toilet under floor area (somewhere around the macerator pump) to stop leaking, get the new idea for a black water waste tank functional (so it fits with the generator drawer closed) the diesel heater working (had it attempting to fire up, but no fuel to the heater as yet) wiring in and securely mount the induction cooktop, make a door for the new cupboard, get the exhaust brake working ..... the other stuff will have to wait until we are on the road ...... I still have 5 hrs of day light left

Good day/morning
I fixed the TV cable...had to remove head lining
... but it's done.
Final bit of "sika" on the roof today and it will be all done.
"has Terry left"...maybe we should have a competition...
My guess is he's almost left...
Not much else going on up here in down town Degilbo...had a chat with next door and another came over to assist in the chatting , that was about a hour of the day gone.
And guess what it's bacon and eggs day again...WackO
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Another fresh morning, but top of 25° expected, so it might turn out OK. Was a lovely sunny day for watching boat races yesty. They didn't get through the scheduled races though, so it was an early start today for the smaller classes.
Great pic of the rainbow Bernie. Enjoy your b&e, we're just having toast today.
Will be back onto trimming trees and tidying up the garden today. It's too much for the MiL now, and the old boy has been up to it for at least the last 10 years.
Enjoy your day everybody. Safe travels all those out and about.

Almost might be a bit of a stretch, at about the same position in the schedule as I was a week ago might be closer to the mark ..... but I do have a T shirt to explains it all, "Don't rush me, I'm waiting for the last minute"BernieQ2 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 5:27 am Good day/morning![]()
