Re: Good morning daily
Wow George 2 hrs from operation & you’re home, was it a local operation or did you have full anaesthetic
fast procedure, hope the pain has eased & you received a good result from the Dr.,
Rest Bernie, take it easy & make a full recovery.
John a couple of my bowling friends suffer with vertigo intermittently, virtually can’t do anything when they have an attack, the things old folk have to endure.
Bruce’s eye feels better when he uses the antibiotic drops, lubricates it, slowly improving, still very uncomfortable.

Morning everyone.
I seemed to have had a better night maybe on the way up
.
I can think of better places to have a vertigo attack than the top of the shed
...I have a mate who had one while flying alight aircraft...scary stuff.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning, 11c, slight breeze across the lake 22c predicted another beautiful Autumn day here on Lake Macquarie.
Number 4 g’son turned 11 y’day, I bought him a digital smart watch he was really pleased with it, last time we were out kayaking the watch mechanism fell out of the plastic band into the water, there was no way he was going to find same in about 4foot of water.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning from a rather cool Kyneton Vic. It was fresh enough this morning that I could do steam train impersonations. We went for a visit in the old stamping grounds. It's all changed. Only thing the same is the old buildings. Had dinner in one of the old pubs in town, that was pretty good, reasonable price too.
Hope your feeling better Bernie. Get well soon all the sickies.
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
Good arvo, cool and wet here. Just spent the last week helping my last horse go through her last days, she was 35 and a lovely lady. Was fine until one day she didn't come up to the house for her food, when she didn't arrive the next morning went hunting for her and found her down in the bottom paddock, behind a hedge which is why didn't see her. Spent the day trying to get her up, brought the tractor down to lift her and she tried to rise, but fell down again. Covered her hoping she we just a bit sick, but next day she was struggling so spent the day talking to her and watching her deteriorate, but she was comfortable and not in pain, just old and out of energy. Went down next morning and she must have passed during the night, very sad after having her for all her life, buried her with the other horses and decide no more horses even though still love riding and having them around.
After having so many dogs and horses pass through my life, losing her has effected me more than any other horses demise, but life goes on and we have to cope with end of life loses, as there's nothing we can do about it. Knowing me. like dogs if a rescue horse come upon the scene, will probably take it in, always find it hard to see horses and dogs who are desperate for a home and not help. I do have around 20 acres of productive paddocks.
Have a loverly day everyone, the suns out now, rain stopped and time to run with the dogs before the rain come back, as they are complaining and pushing for a stick run.

NP that is why there will be no more animals now, the pain is too much when they go. Sorry for your loss, never an easy time
We have just got back from the city, 2 Xrays of the remaining fangs, she (the dentist) is pleased. See again in 3 months. Coolish day so maybe rain is on the way.

Haven't reached the end of all the posts I missed, so if someone has already given you the answer, ya gunna get it againShirley wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 7:01 pm Worried re Bruce’s eye injection today, he’s had terrible pain & burning in the eye, been laying down since about 3pm, I’ve put lubricant drops in the eye a couple of times, the specialist gave us same, anyone else having eye injections experienced this outcome after the injection?

There are two types of numbing drops, ones with a red cap and ones with a white cap. I became sensitive to the red c ap ones and make sure they use the white cap ones now. The first lot of drops to dilate the eyes for the photos, still burn like petrol in the eyes, but the numbing white cap drops no longer have that after effect like your eyes are being washed out with thinners on a continuous basis for 24hrs afterwards ... my eyes can sympathise with Bruce's eyes, that pain is something else, eyes open or closed, but bright light just dials the pain up to 11 .....
My pain control method was, 2 osteo ease, followed by two Norflex, followed by 2 Endone, followed by 3 x double Jack Daniel's and coke .... till I passed out
