Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Its 10° here in Mulwala right now. Heading for a top of 18, so the man says. We are all packed and ready to go, almost. Should be on the road by 10.30 I hope.
Bernie, good luck with getting rid of covid cough.
Terry, I like your way of thinking. I might have to smash a mirror or two as well.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Clocked up the big km's today. Drove all the way from the Donald hotel car park to the free camp as you enter Donald, maybe a km at best  A top day, tonight's fairly mild so far. Cooked up potatoes and lamb chops in the air fryer ..... gotta love these lithium batteries 8-)
Plan was to try out the new smokeless fire place we bought from Bunnings and cook on the BBQ hotplate, but there is a fire ban so it remains unused.

Nice spot, nice town, shame about the name association ;)

Good morning everyone.
Another fresh morning fire's burning. Still on the hunt for the elusive scan gun...,😡
Found 3 letters my grandfather sent to my dad while he was a prisoner of war... you could read the anxt in the third one as dad couldn't respond, so he didn't know if he was getting them.each of the letters were opened before my Dad got them... "opened by censor" stamped on them.i still get teary eyed when reading them.
Not much else going on.
Keep safe on the road.
Bernie.

Good morning Bernie & all, 5c sun just rising, prediction 21c, no rain, the fire look good.

We’re off to the GP this morning need to speak to him about my insomnia, some nights I don’t sleep at all
Bowled y’day lucky it was social, think I left the brain at home, played skip in pairs like a beginner, we did end up making a come back beaten 17-24.

Late good morning from near Armidale I think. We made it to Gilgandra last night. Might get home by tomorrow arvo or Friday morn.
Bernie, I know what you mean about the letters, I've seen the ones my grandad sent my mum about my dad after he became POW.
Shirley, I hope GP can sort out your insomnia. It took 'em a while to find the right one for Terrie's mum earlier this year.

The Newell hwy from Parkes to Coonabarabran is a lot better now, but the New England is still really ordinary.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Finally departed Donald rest area around 2pm, reached Kerang about 4:30pm at Woolies, 3 trips later I returned with a frying pan that would fit in the air fryer, then on to the mates place .... to discover it's a dead end street without a turn around at the end, just a barrier and rail line. A very careful reverse in the dark hoping the car didn't jack knife, up their driveway, across the front lawn and down next doors driveway, wide turn so the trailer and car didn't take out the fire hydrant post, a bit of a reverse shuffle and the left hand steer tyre ran along the top of the concrete gutter and missed the people's garden out the front completely :D Parked up now in the Kerang RV park beside the race course.

Good morning.
I slept in... sorry Shirley 😕.
Cleaning the Shed trying to find the scan thingy 😡😡.
I done a small lawn mower bit... I moved the box trailer 😁
Only other thing done was to do a bit of gardening...
Hopefully Shirley got some sleep last night...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone, from downtown Dalveen Qld.
We had another big drive day yesty and are now almost home. Had a nice campfire last night and got a good nights sleep for a change. Wasn't as cold as it has been for the past few weeks.
Glad you finally had a good sleep Shirley. Enjoy your morning tea, hope you bowl OK.
I hope you can find your scan tool Bernie. When did you last use it?
Have no plans for today, but I think there might be a lawn mower needs looking at.
Safe travels everybody, have a top day.
Cheers
