Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning 12c, strong westerly wind has blown across the lake all night predicted to continue today, maybe reach 16c.
Wrong way Shirley won’t be practicing today   believe I have the flu or maybe Covid will test when I get up, haven’t been feeling 100%, had headaches, body pains, coughing, sat down knitting y’day, need to recover, scheduled to play our shield game against Halekulani Tuesday, must remember to collect my bowls from the club.
Sunrise looking spectacular from here in bed,

Looks even better now, the clouds have turned dark grey, lovely & warm here in bed. :D

This sleeping a houseboat when the wind is blowing it something different. It reminded me of the days I was drinking heavily, everything felt like it was moving

Project for today, trip to an opshop and get some work clothes so I can start removing the stuff off the back of the truck. Need to pick up a container to put on the workshop slab and build a roof over it to provide a bit of protection from the elements and somewhere to put tools etc as we, yet again, replace what we have lost as far as equipment goes.
This one is going to be harder to recover from, at least we had the house that was familiar and comforting territory .....

Just came back from taking photos at the house .... till the phone died, and it started raining yet again, so enough tearing out the soul for one day, so back at Bruce's house boat. The wind over the last few days certainly rearranged a lot of the tin sheets that were the garage and house and garden shed, but the burn pattern and direction shows which way the wind was blowing and where the fire actually started ... well, to me anyway. Unless the aluminium bullbar was the part that caught fire first, the fire brigade and Police investigators didn't actually look at the evidence too closely
I'm guessing they are looking for arson and deliberate actions rather than the actual start point of the fire ..... yet to see what the motorhome insurer and house insurer's forensic fire investigators say ...... if it was anything to do with the new smart meters I bet we don't hear a word about it ......

Evening all. I'm at Pipers Creek Vic, at my sons place now. Arrived around lunchtime. It was about 5° tby then. I had spent most of yesty arvo and last night at mates place up in the Strathbogie Ranges. It was below 3° there with rain been driven in from the south pole, I reckon. It' rained most of yesty arvo, all of last night and probably still drizzling now, but I'm not leaving the warmth of the couch here. Double glazing and a good wood heater has my vote.
I'm ready to head north again. But that may not happen, until Terrie is happy that her dad is comfortable with how things are.
Cheers

Good morning everyone.
Dam phone sez it's 9 degrees outside... bloody optimistic...I'm not going out to check 😁😁
We had a good day at our son's birthday party... his birthday is on Tuesday... total of 14 and that was without 5 of the kids who for various reasons couldn't attend.
His girlfriend had the biggest surprise for him... they are off to Uluru next Friday till Monday...
After the event we went to Bunnings... bank account down by a cuppla $100 😡😡
Had a mate ring me while driving home... he's camped at Somerset dam... love my hands free thingy 😁😁
And you know what comes next
It's bacon and eggs Sunday 💕
Keep safe and warm everyone.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its 4° here this morning, outside the house anyway. The drizzle has blown itself out for a while, and the sun is out. I'm not going outside just yet though. Not sure of what's on the program this morning yet.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers
