Just turned the air con off and a bit of a cool breeze has come up. The fire out the road is under control at present.. Another scorcher tomorrow so if you have to be outside remember to drink heaps of water and cover up.. Goodnight David x

I was just watching the weather report and there was a reminder for people to stay in touch with the elderly during this current heat wave and remind them to keep their fluids up tomorrow. So Dot I'm just checking how you? are and reminding you to keep the fluids up.

My intake of fluids has been wonderful today thank you for your concern young fella. Might have to force another Muscato down the gullett . The green fella should just about be home by now.

No he's not home yet......................Still about 1000 kms to go.

We are currently at Gulgong Showgrounds - $15pnpv with power and water - about 38 deg outside and same predicted for tomorrow.

Nite Nite all off to bed for a good nights sleep weather a lot cooler and a nice breeze blowing through the house.

Friday night was Melbourne's Big Scorcher.
Our House aircon is at the opposite end of the house to main bedroom. "Coolth" doesn't reach.
So we hooked Girt into the 240v, fired up her aircon, and slept in her for the night.
Worked a treat.
Another advantage of owning a motorhome - when you decide to keep the house after the anklebiters move out!
Much cooler in the house tonight. Aircon not needed at all.

Nite Nite all off to the land of ZZZZZZZZZZZ... still very windy in Ballarat but nice and cool for sleeping..
