After several days of limited to non-existent phone signal, we have now made it to Batchelor, about 90km south of Darwin. We are camped at the C**A RV park for the princely sum of $7 per night, with good fresh water to top up tanks and a dump point.

And this is our view

The intention is to use this as a base to explore Litchfield NP in the Suzuki, however it seems about half the park is closed due to flooding, which is very disappointing. I will know more when I study the map later. Lots of road damage between 3 Ways and here due to flooding.

I have a bowling friend that is touring at the moment just been in NQ & missed out visiting several areas owing to flooding, they have been up in Karumba & missed out on Lawn Hill, closed, now in the NT, going across to WA.

And just like that, 14 weeks almost to the day and we are home again. The pictured route is just over 10,000 kms but lots of tripping around while camped up. The Iveco didn’t miss a beat.

Yes the cleaning just returned from a 3 week run to Darwin and have most of the cleaning done.
