Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all a bit chilly as is the norm these days but does get better as the clock goes around.

Installed a new table in the caravan on Wednesday and may have to replace the kitchen tap. Need to fill the tanks and run the water.

Take care and best to all cheers Robert

This place is filling up fast. The only complaint I've heard is that the internet is very slow. I've tried to post a few pics during the day, to no avail.
Bernie, I patted a camel for you. They look after them a bit different to race horses. The big parade is on today.
Jon, the stuff I use for Bandit is always $170 or so at the vet. Usually about $40 cheaper at the pet food place.
I'm glad Phoenix had a good report.
Have a top day everybody.
We bought one of these https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/18390185152 ... 2ad1678f88 and one of these https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/27637267721 ... XQVE72Q0G3 and we had internet with 4 bars where no one else could get enough signal to receive or send ..... Used an extendable painters roller handle from Aldi as the antenna pole, just turned it till we got the most bars showing

Good morning everyone. The festival has started now and the camping area in and around the showgrounds and racecourse is packed.
Supposedly over 10,000 people here already, all trying to access a little bit of bandwidth. The phone tower is overloaded. The blokes selling firewood are doing a roaring trade. A 10kg bag of split ironbark is $20.
We went for a joyflight in a helicopter today and had a quick look about. The township is much bigger than I realised, and the whole area is flat. Very flat.
Jon, that's the same stuff I use for Bandit. Been using it for a few years now. It seems to work.
I think I'll try to get a bit more sleep, if I'm lucky, I might.
Safe travels everyone. Have a great weekend.
Cheers
David

Good morning.
That package I was expecting didn't arrive, I rang the company to find out more... after an hour or so they rang me back... they have trouble finding it now... maybe lost "stolen"
Hopefully by Monday they may have more answers???
Outside is four at the moment, yesterday it dropped to Two, so probably the same today...
I almost bought a factory in Tara Dave about 20 years ago...
Leg is a bit better, I think it's just. Muscular.
Not much else happening... Garbo day yesterday...
Keep safe and warm everyone.
Bernie.

Morning all.

Getting closer to launching. Buy food and wash bus.

Split AC is playing up. I think the valve to release the pressure when it's turned off is sticking. Meaning it won't restart until the pressure has leaked past the valve. (About 12+ hours)

Good morning. It's the middle of the night and all the normal people are asleep. That means I can find enough bandwidth to access this site. It's 0° again, but I'm used to that now, not. All the volunteers here are saying there are 20k people here, double the usual. Official figures not released yet. It is busy.
Terrie's dad has had a bit of a fall and is in hospital. We will be heading south this afternoon, or tomorrow morning at the latest. Can't get out of where we are yet.
Jon, does your AC do the same thing on heat as well as cooling? One of ours at home had that problem, but only on heat. It was the control card.
Bandit is snoring ,I'm gunna try and get some more sleep.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Sunday morning everyone 😁.
Stop blaming your dog Dave 😜
Not good news about Terries dad.
My leg has finally come good.
Didn't get up to much yesterday.
The water tank 5000 gallons that we water our garden with has run dry...drats...and there is too much sulphur and magnesium in the bore water, so may have to flood irrigate
One good thing but...it's bacon and eggs day 🙀 again...
Phone sez 7 ??
Keep safe and warm.
Bernie.
