Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. It's about 10° here in Mulwala right now. We had about 10mm of rain overnight and some really strong winds. I think it's blown itself out now. It nice to see everything green and fresh.
Not much else to report today. Everyone is still very fragile. The funeral will be on Wednesday, not looking forward to that at all.
Safe travels everybody. Where are you now Jon?
Cheers

Good morning All. 10*, cloudy, Max of 14* forecast.
We are off to Mount Macedon and Hanging Rock Winery this morning and when we get back to the resort we have a Meet and Greet with a few nibbles and glasses of wine.

Bugger, I just had a phone call advising that the trip to the mount etc has been cancelled. We could have stayed in bed. :(

George, why don't you just get in the car, and drive there. It's not far, and if the weather isn't too unpleasant you could still enjoy it.
Cheers

Dave, that's exactly what we plan to do, in the drizzling rain.

That's how the Kyneton district is in winter George. It is either raining or freezing cold. Sometimes both. Why do you think I moved to Queensland.

Oh George, that's no good.

Coffin makers have a deal,"try before you die". Might be wise, better than being uncomfortable and grumpy for eternity.

Dave, we did it and the weather has been fine but for a bit of a breeze. We went into a gallery and Trading Post at Mt Macedon prior to the Memorial monument, then a walk around Woodend and another coffee before returning to the resort 10 minutes ago.

If I can download a photo from Julie's phone I will post it later.

And to top things off, to complete my totally ordinary past week or so, myself and a few of the granddaughters that spent a fair bit of time in the hospital with the FiL have tested covid positive. I've been onto my GP at home and have the antivirals. Hopefully it won't be another bout of the long version of the dog disease.
I was a bit shocked to find out how much the pills were.
They only cost me $7.70 but if you don't fit the criteria it's over $1k.
Cheers
