I tried to take a photo of the stars today.
Somehow, I didn't get the reflection right..... oh well.

You realise stars only come out at night don’t you?

Morning one and all.
Great picture Lesley...I was going to say you need a camera Jon

but I guess you know that...
And it was good to catch up with Lesley and Erich. Are the orange's okay??
I have finished the van

The weather was kind for the kid's they made it to the bottom of Tassie...
Today's agenda includes a garage sale in Biggenden.
After that I'm thinking of moving the motorhome over to where I worked on the van, and get it ready for the new aircon

Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its a bit cool, overcast and windy in downtown Mulwala today. It must be Grand Final day here, the local footy ground is packed, and cars are parked up all the side roads.
Thanks for the FBk link to Erichs pics Lesley, he takes quality photos.
Don't forget to take lots of pics Bernie, there is gunna be a few questions from me.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels.

Morning all,
Just sitting in the bay window catching up on the forum.
Watching our resident boy Blue Wren flitting about in our garden, about 6’ from me.
Trying to grab a photo, but the little bugger is too quick. By the time I switch to the phone camera he’s somewhere else!
Plenty of drab females around snapping up the insects, but they are plain compared to the Harem Master’s paint job!
Had a quick 4-day trip to Son-&-Heir’s place last (stretched) weekend. He’s snowed under with work-from-home deadlines and won’t be able to visit for Father’s Day, so we went to his place. Plenty of time for long chats while SWMBO visited former workmates.
I still can’t believe that our g’daughter just turned 14!!
Where have the years gone?

Finally got the little bugger! He stood still long enough for me!

The funeral yesterday was a big affair. Held on the farm property, a battle to find a parking spot, a very emotional time with so many stories of his very involved life.
A Guard of Honour formed along the driveway as the hirst departed, family in one of the GT Falcons he restored for his kids, easily 100 people there ..... then the celebration of his life started once the family returned ..... naturally, I was the designated driver .... Brian did offer,

very nice of him, but none of us thought we could get drunk enough to handle the trip home
By 7:30 I was in bed, seem to have caught something and the throat feels like I've been gargling broken glass and the cough comes right from the shoelaces up ..... a lot of wind stirring stuff up as well, so it could be something the farmers were spraying, see how it develops and how long it lasts.

Well done T1, you seem to have described that latest Covid variant symptoms perfectly. You may or may not test positive, as some of the older kits don't recognise the newer variants.
For your sake I hope I'm wrong.
The only good thing about funerals is the truth telling ceremonies afterwards. Some wonderful memories can be had.

Are you just trying to cheer me up Dave

That's about all I need to top off a wonderful couple of mths .... symptoms for this latest variety seem to be from 2 days to 5 days, the funeral was only yesterday so I doubt I caught it there ..... but I hope I didn't spread it there if I do have it .....

Doing me best Terry.

Sorry mate, but with all the stuff going wrong a bit further up the river from you guys, it was a bit hard to find a positive. From what I'm told the only positive you'll get in a town of any size in Vic at the moment is a covid result. But only if you use a newish test kit.
So, my take on this is, use an old kit, say you tested negative, and just keep moving. It seems to be what all the locals are doing.

yeah I know, funny not funny.

David are the new kits the same routine? Up the nose? Suppose we should have one on hand. Don't see many people with masks on these days. Those antivirals taste revolting,
