Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

This 26 ton behemoth is speed limited to only 200km/h!
😳
I wonder if they calculated the stopping distance from that speed… 🤔
At 26 ton, just get out of it's way .... I don't know what they plan to use for fuel to get 26 ton up to 200km/h, the aero is like a block of flats, it only drives of a single axle, the second axle is just to carry the engine and transmission weight, so the tyres have to be built with enough side wall strength to apply that sort of power to the ground, yet tied together through the tread area to handle that sort of speed, most truck tyres are rated at between 100km/h and 130km/h. It would need drive tyres like the legendary Super Boss out of the USA, but they wouldn't carry 26 ton ...

It's all good fun Dottie, once we get back from the Victoria trip, I'll finish off reassembling the interior and go for run in it some where.
I get to drive the Ford Cargo with it's 680 cu in 6 cyl (11.2 ltr) diesel to pick up this Lexus and I know it won't go as well as this 6.8 ltr V10 in the Winnie carrying the same weight, and use more fuel while it's doing it.
No idea why someone would want to put a 12.8 ltr diesel in motorhome, fuel isn't as cheap as it was when they ran these big diesel motors in tour buses and motorhome bodies, it's not like they'll be pulling three trailers full of paying freight to cover the fuel costs ..... they measure the fuel consumption in ltrs to the km on those big twin turbo charged engines

Good morning.
Overcast again... still no rain..
We didn't get up to much yesterday, I done the run to Biggenden for milk and bread and... and to get some pills from the chemist for herself...
Had a neighbour drop in on his Royal Enfield for a chat...
I think it's going to be another slow day...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all,

looks like a quiet day. Wood splitting done.

Two piles, another 4 cubic meters or so stored - in their shed, my place and the neighbours too.

Lovely morning in Tas, warm windy, showers and clean air.

Got back from Aus a few days ago after cruising, playing and a week off in Mallacoota, which had reasonable air quality, nice and quiet. But everywhere else we went, had a haze hanging round and the air smelt horrible along with wall to wall people and vehicles. So glad the ferry now leaves from Geelong, don't have to get through Melbourne any more no matter which direction we go and the Queenscliff to Sorrento ferry trip is a nice journey, but costs close to $100 one way.

Been cleaning up the mess from all the wind storms we've had whilst away, with branches and a trees down on the drive and tracks round the property and 151mm in the rain gauge from October. Grass up to my waist which needs slashing, but first went for bike rides and had my first surf for 30 years. Hit the water, jumped on the wave ski and fell straight off and the first wave completely dumped me, got no balance and buying a competition custom ski was a mistake. Have to learn to balance again so been going to a sheltered beach to practise not falling off early each morning and this morning didn't fall off at all, so another few days and should be ready to tackle some surf.

Have a lovely day everyone, I'm off to slash a 5 hectare paddock and make some fuel after clearing all the downed wood on the place. At least have lots of future firewood :)
