We were about 30 or so yards from the water Dave, there was no phone service or internet even up the top.supersparky wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 8:46 am Bernie, how far from the water were you?
I haven't been there since they lowered the level. We have never camped up the top, too busy. But that's the only spot your phone works.
Good morning daily

Fridge good Bruce...even with the fog and total overcast on Saturday. Victron thingy says I had 13.2v on Sunday morning.BruceS wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 7:55 am Welcome home Bernie!
Sounds like you're filming a movie?........ "that's a wrap"
I've not had any experience with the wrapping stuff but some of those stick on things you can prick the vinyl with a needle & squeeze out the air?
I gotta ask ..... how did the fridge go? Batteries keep up over night ok?
I stuffed up big time...I put the eggs on first before the bacon.. don't know why I cook bacon and eggs each Sunday
It was a musical rap

Re: Good morning daily
Shirley, or anyone else looking at getting hearing aids, I can thoroughly agree with what Terry has posted.
I have a long term issue with hearing loss and have tried various types of aids over the years. You will only get what you pay for. As a minimum I would suggest getting induction charged, Bluetooth connectable, smart phone adjustable, if it is within your means. If you have a health care card, the govt sponsored system can supply reasonable quality ones for a bit extra, maybe a far bit, in some cases. My MiL has some now, and it's the first time for years that she can have a proper conversation with anyone, without guessing what they said, or just nodding her head and saying yes.

Re: Good morning daily
Good afternoon 26c, cool breeze blowing in across the lake, been over 30c today.
Nose surgery completed this morning, more invasive than I was anticipating, cancer sent off to pathology, feeling very uncomfortable & need to take Panadol, return next week to have dressing & maybe stitches removed. Definitely no bowls until the new year, I will go to the Christmas party next week.
Bruce has had a skin graft on one ear redressed today & another cancer off his other ear, he has to go back Friday for follow up.
Thanks for all the advice on hearing aids, I certainly have a lot to think about, I have been bombarded with so many providers, really hard to choose
Bernie your camp location looked peaceful, good for you to get away for a couple of days & good that Carol had a win
Jon maybe you should harvest the blackberries, I purchased some in Woollies last week, reminded me of my childhood when we had a vacant block in our street covered in blackberries.
Fortunately my hearing loss is moderate so no hurry for hearing aids, still trying to make up my mind re same.

Yeah, Na. Too many.
This is from the NE corner looking south.
Every view is different. I've not really seen this one before.

Good morning.
Thanks Shirley it was good to get out of the house for a few days. Carol went swimming yesterday with her mate's and again today...I think the swimming would be good for her knee.
I didn't get up to much yesterday, finished empting the motorhome... and it's now back in the shed...
The garden will require watering today, so the bore will be in use... yesterday's temp up above 35 again..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone, lost another to the ether this morning. Operator error again. It another humid day here, just had a brief shower while the roadworthy man was here doing the annual inspection on the Winnie.
Went to the hammer shop yesty and spent too much. Apparently. That's what happens when you are in the toy shop with no supervision. Spent a fair bit of time making the place look reasonable again, then had a nana nap.
Your setup looks pretty good Bernie, ours is very similar.
Happy hump day everybody, safe travels.

Re: Good morning daily
I won't be posting here tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately my brother passed away this afternoon.
I will driving down to Sydney for the funeral when I know the date.
