Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Good morning folks.

"Cheeky bugga," what ever are you saying Dot

Wonderful morning here, nice rain over night, cloudless sky and heading for a surf. We've had 113mm of rain during December which has kept everything really green with grass in the paddocks up to my thighs and the dogs love it, running and hiding in it. Bindi bounces up and down in it so she can see where she's going which is pretty hilarious to watch, but she really enjoys it. Dax lays down with legs flaying in the air as he rolls around scratching his back, so pretty happy dogs and now they get to race along the beach and bite the waves coming in.
Yesterday finished cleaning out the workshop and the bus, after watching the cricket which was a great game. Rarely watch cricket but this test was a great spectacle and well worth watching. Today after a surf will start to mask up the bus and get it ready to paint, only problem is have yet to decide on colour and patterns. But the stencils for the side car arrived yesterday and getting the paint for it next monday when they return to work. Have done a lot of spray painting over the years, but never any metallic, so will have to do a bit of experimentation to get it right. Same with the air brushing, have to experiment with that so get the colours right in the flames putting on the side car and fuel tank to match the ones on the bike which will be a good learning curve.
Hope everyone has a great enjoyable day and gets what they want done. Most of the shackies have gone home so the beach will be empty and so will the surf except for the diehard locals, most mature along with the few kids and a .5m swell coming in.
Good morning 16c, mild pond lake not even a ripple, predicting 26c, chance of a thunderstorm this arvo.
There hasn’t been as many boats staying overnight out on the lake this year, last night I counted 14 along the shoreline usually been 30 or more this time of the year. We do have more resident jet skis in our bay, seven now use to be only two, fortunately they haven’t all been active at the same time, all owned by holiday house folk.
No bowls for me yet, nose still healing from the surgery, we start back next week.
We might even get over there to put in a effort to get the place ready for the May invasion If you have that much blackberry to control, a few goats full time would have it sorted. We used an old wheel and tyre as the anchor, they drag it to the next spot as required, they just pull star pickets out of the ground with that run up and head down approach, they cop a tyre and wheel over the head the first time they try that approach and they soon calm down to just getting it to a new patch that needs cleaning up below ground level.
Get a Billy and a Nanny and in no time, you will have baby goats to sell

G'day everyone. No data left on the phone til midnight, so I'm on the 'puter. Pleasant enough day today. A lot of people out and about.
I don't reckon goats would work in the front paddock for Jon. Some of the yobbo's that spotlight the road either wouldn't be able to help themselves or maybe wouldn't know the difference and the goats would get s h o t.
I hope everyone has a better 2025 than this one was. Enjoy yourselves tonight.
Cheers
