Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bernie,
you're better off using a can of brake cleaner/degreaser.
Morning all.
We had thunder all night, but no real rain.
Yes Jon I'm going to use that... but I can get alot of the grease out with petrol...then use the brake cleaner.. degreaser.
It's also another thing I can't buy in Biggenden...I'm just back from there.
Good morning everyone. Its another copy and paste 30⁰ maybe day for us. Lots of wind and maybe a few showers. The big car is in for a service today and we are going for lunch with a few old friends. So there won't be much done today. I'm collecting supplies to make a big batch of sauce later in the week.
Stay safe everybody, have a top day.
Cheers

The BoM says the heatwave will continue from Sunday (yesterday that was a stinker) through to Thursday, not sure how I'm supposed to get all the stuff I need to do completed in the 4 weeks I have available before heading off the Sydney ..... I should dispatch a strongly worded email to the BoM explaining that the weather they have set up for the week is not acceptable or suitable for my plans, so best change it ........ do you think I should sign it Donald Trump so it has more weight behind it? Or Elon Musk?

Good morning everyone and it sure aint hot mum, it is horrendous so Terry my answer to your Q is yes I dare you to do just what you said, write to BOM and sign it as you think might get the job done, Out letter from the Chiro was accepted by ANZ so today G has the U./Sound then we go from there.
Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.
T1, maybe forget about the drivers side awning for a while and just make a list.
From most important to maybe. Start at most important.
You'll get there eventually.
It's kinda surprising what you can put up with if you need to
Cheers

T1,
Use Elon’s signature.
He owns the world.
Well, he owns Trump… same same.

Maybe why we don't see the same with Rudd, Wrong & that party machine. Can't get them much lower?

The driver's side awning is a future dream installation. Just getting the batteries, inverter and solar are going to be a challenge. I need to do work on the Gypsy trailer to get it road legal again because the house fire took out all the lights and wiring ...... If I can pick up a trailer at one of the auctions, I think that might be the better option just on a time basis ...... Getting the new one built would have been great .... but there was every chance it wouldn't be ready in time, and that amount of money outlaid and no result would just about break the fine thread we are hanging on by at the moment.
I might even have to pack the solar panels up on the trailer and fit them as I travel ..... not the ideal plan but ......

Elon might not be doing as well as he makes out. Barclay and bank of America are short selling the loans they made to Musk to buy Twitter .... if they are willing to lose money on the loans, they aren't very confident in his ability to pay .......
6 major companies have cancelled any advertising on X after Elon's carry on and the links he is making with extreme right wing groups throughout the world ..... they don't want their brand names associated with Musk ..... that will be a huge financial blow to Elon, add the fact he can't push his pay deal through the courts, AI is suddenly a second fiddle thing to China's AI that is already out there ..... hitching his wagon to Trump is ...... let's just say not one of the cleverest moves he's ever made ...... I think he is about to discover that he can't bully his way through things the way he does when he actually owns the company ...... His net worth went up like a skyrocket .... we all know what happens to sky rockets at the end of the burn, a few bright babbles and a crash back to earth ...... He is already trying to raise money for projects, the banks are no longer interested so he's trying crowd funding ..... why would someone worth that much money need to look for outside funding??

I don't think it's just Aussie's who are laughing at Trumps desperate attempts to look tough, if Canada turns off the electricity and oil, the USA will be in the dark ages when the sun goes down
It's hard to believe that the trump supports still believe a tariff on imported goods will force those countries to pay the tariffs ...... the tariff is collected at the point of entry and paid by the importer ..... the country that sold the goods is the exporter, so the tariff is being paid by the American who wants to sell those goods he bought and still make money ..... so the price must go up to cover it ..... it is the US people who will be paying the tariffs .... no one else
